These are a must have....very sturdy and wayyyyy better than stock....may last more than a couple tire sets.....Check air with one hand!!!!
I like the tactile feel of OEM knobs w/ the rubberized surfaces, which enables better grip w/ gloves on. These are plastic. Were part of a gift from SnL, but will not use & cannot return due to Show Chrome's very user unfriendly vacuum packaging scheme (one reason for low rating). So, if you want these knobs, contact me & I 'll sell to you at cost and pay shipping.
Very nice product- chromed metal vs plastic. Be sure to 'dry fit' the part to ensure the contours fit nicely w/o trying to 'stand-off' the panel. Slight pressures applied to the part area(s) in question to increase curvature, etc may be needed; mine was very slight. Rub the entire AC tape surfaces w/ a fingernail to activate the AC tape. Align, then press along all surfaces, should adhere well.
perfect fit, easy install, beautiful accent to your wing.
easy to install, beautiful to see at night
If you ever have a passenger ride with you, they will love you for these. Only problem is you have to move them to open the trunk. Other than that, cant live without them....
This absorbs the fairing chipping road debris way better than the paint. Coated in Armor-all type stuff the bugs come off easily. Good fit.
These are money well spent. The SO is gonna love em !
Nice to know road debris wont be taking the oil filter out. That's why I got it. As for the claims like it helps w/wind from semi's ???? Not so sure about that. The front piece could fit better. I'm sure it helps make sales.
Big and bulky, does not pivot, no cups, passenger drink holder rubs on saddle bag. I'm not really in love with these drink holder. I should have kept looking.
Don't know about everyone else but I got no instructions with my belly pan. However don't think that any are required. Any one looking at it should be able to install. I did not find the edges to be sharp and it took about 5 minutes to install. The only question I have is when you install the front piece does it go under the front Cowl or below.

The pan can't be seen from above so I guess it looks good, don't know though, it's kinda like the refrigerator light, can't see it so you have to assume. I do wonder, however, if the pan should have a little more clearance from the engine. A really hard knock might do some damage to the underside. Also the makers really should include a band aid or two for those who of us who can read but don't believe... |
