UPDATE: Just got back from an extended long haul tour and put the Ultragard to the test. It did really well providing me with lots of pockets to store smaller items and the larger compartment was great for larger items that I needed quick and/or easy multiple access to. The Ultragard did well in light or sporadic rain, however during one 7 hour day in heavy rain, the bag was pretty much soaked through even with the the rain cover on.
Great looking product. I added these and the shark gill at the same time and immediately got comments about them. They add just the right amount of chrome And is a simple install. As with all of the adhesive-backed products, do a test fit before removing the backing so you know where it goes, then take your time.
Great looking product. Easy install. Immediately got comments on it. Very nice product.
OK, 4 STARS FOR THIS ITEM, ONLY BECAUSE OF THE METAL HOOKS, OTHERWISE A GREAT PRODUCT,THE WINGSTUFF LOGO IS DIFFERENT & GRABS ATTENTION, GOOD PADDING AS WELL FOR THE WIND SHEILD & ANTENNAS- SO GO GET SOME, IT WON'T HURT- SUMMERTIME MAN !
Great look, great price however poor product description as far as leg extention arms. Had to spend more money to get the mini arms. The product should give you average height recommendations so you don't have to buy the correct lenth this was anther $50 cost to get the correct size arm. At 5'10" the six inch arm has your knees up in the air.
This is a no brainer! Worth every penny making the loading of your road music a snap.
We have had this installed for 2 years now and it is AWESOME. Protecting the under belly of the bike while stabilizing wind buffeting on the highway.
Quality product and nice sound. I had to replace my OEM left speaker when I dinged it when installing the dash cover on a prior mod. Hooked it up and enjoyed the new quality sound. No other mods had to be made during the install.

Quality product that adds a touch of bling to the look of the Goldwing. I had fog lights already installed with lens protectors so I had to do some prep work to get it ready for the install. I had to cut out the fog light inserts and mount the foglight lens protectors by drilling into the chrome for the fasteners. Measured twice, took a deep breath and drilled the holes. Once all prepped, it mounted up fine. Due to the chrome finish, it is a bit stiffer than OEM cowl but it lined up with the screw holes. Overall, a nice addition to the bike. |
As soon as I received it, it went onto a shelf at the office. That way I can look at it and daytime of wind in my hair and rolling over the blacktop.
It was simple enough to attach the cable to the battery on my trike and test the tender. So far so good.
I did the install myself, if you can take a wheel off you can install them your self,I installed with a new set of tires without balancing then went on a 1500 mile trip the ride was smooth as glass, I'm not sure about long term tire wear.the down sides are price and you can hear the beads swishing at very low speeds yes they sound like beads not ball bearings like the demo shows but they work very well
