Bought this only because the Butler seemed soooo big. A standard water bottle wont fit easy with the insulation, and pulls it out each time I get a drink. Product seems well made though.
Gave this one star ~only~ because this wont work with Kury floorboards. Don't get me wrong the product seems great, just not for us with floorboards.
Flag looks nice, but as others even after cutting the flag seam open to insert a wire, the flag still bends or wraps. I ordered two, thinking that the holder would slip over my cb dummy load. Wrong ! You have to heat the dummy in order to get the locktite to loosen from the antenna. Flag still wraps even on this side. Shame as I really wanted a flag on my ride, but it just doesn't work.
don't leave home without it,it's great. down side is the big price tag
Junk Junk Junk. The plastic tabs that hond the light is are so cheep that all 6 have broken off. One side ALL the lights are out but 2. I had to remove them for safety. Look great on my pearl white 1800 but looks are not everything. Save your money.
NOT a good design. It will bend the shift bar. You have to put plastic wire ties on to keep in shifting. The bolt that the shifter is on comes loose and you have to take the thing off to fix. I had one on my 1500 that was a lot better design and never gave me trouble. CAUTION
And Wing Stuff with there fast service once again.
Nothing works better than oem brake pads from Honda, tried others they work fine when dry out but wet forget about, also the cheap ones don't last as long as the honda ones do.So don't be cheap and buy the Honda ones.
Make sure you do a couple of trial fits and have good lighting, so that you aren't thrown off by shadows. The fit is not very tight against the edge of the fender, but this is not highly noticeable. This is a nice trim piece which adds just a little chrome accent to the front, helping to balance out the bling-bling created by all of the chrome I installed on the rear and sides of my bike. I would have preferred a more simple, straight edge design like the rear fender trim piece I installed, but this was the simplest design available. Overall, its a nice looking piece of chrome.
These look great. They are made of lightweight plastic, so be very careful when unwrapping, handling, and installing them. One piece actually arrived with the finish slightly damaged by the rubbing of the shrink wrap. I used plastic polish to clean it up, so the blemishes are hardly noticeable now. When installing, if you overtighten the mounting screws, you will see a warp in the trim piece. If you see this, just back the screw off a bit and the piece will straighten out. Also, the edges of these pieces are sharp, so be careful not to scratch your paint when placing them on your bike.
These look really great, especially if you add other side chrome pieces. These are much nicer looking than the standard grey covers. Mine showed up, however, with a piece of foam "weather-stripping" missing from the interior edge of the left unit. I bought a roll of weather-stripping at Home Depot for a couple bucks and installed it myself because there is no way to order the piece from the factory in China. Otherwise, 5 stars for a beautiful product and I highly recommend these.
This is a very nice looking piece and I highly recommend it. That being said, however, the fit is not perfect; the trim piece seems to be a bit wider than the fender tail. I used some strong clamps to hold the edges to the fender hoping the tape would take a good hold. So far, so good. I like the simple design. I wish there were a front fender piece with the same simple straight-line design.
