Wow, what a difference these pads make to the stopping power of the bike. Last year I installed front & rear pads purchased off the Internet. I was very unhappy with the increased stopping distance. This year, just before our 7500 km trip to Wyoming, I ordered these OEM pads from Wingstuff & installed them. What a huge difference they made. I am never again using anything but OEM pads. Well worth the money. Thank you Wingstuff!
Not the best sound quality. Better than the riped cone speakers I had and better than nothing. I couldn't find any 5" speakers that wouldn't be distroyed by water so actually... they're great. :-)
Really nice. The plastic color is not as dark as stock lighting but not that noticible. I thought the fit wasn't any worse than the lights I replaced (due to faded color). I did have problems with all the bulbs working at the same time. checked that all the bulbs lit before I installed the light set. once installed I noticed 1 bulb unlight. had to remove light from saddle bag and then ~10 screw to get to the bulbs. Had to manipulate the bulb contact to make a good connction to the socket. reassembled and then a different one was out. had to take it all apart again. this time checked all the bulbs. all worked fine ...for now. It's a big pain in the B hind, but check that all the bulb connections will make good connection to the socket before you install the lights on the bike. You could save yourself some frustrations later.
EXCELLENT... looks good with any color bike (mine is titanium) and installed in 45 minutes... I took my time.. Really helps the front in slow speeds, and seems to make the bike much more stable at all speeeds.
I installed the belly pan tonight and it went well. The edges are sharp as are any stamped metal parts. I was shocked at how flimsy the Honda coolant tank is underneath, and this protective covering is an absolute must have item on your Wing to protect the tank. You are on borrowed time if you do not have one. Highly recommended.
Update these rock sometimes it is so smooth that I think I'm not even touching the road just finished 3150 mile trip and no problems and no unusual tire wear
It looked nice while it was on the bike. The double sided tape was not thick enough to keep on the bike. I installed on a 2012 gl1800. I followed the instructions and it would only stay on for a few seconds so I held it down for 5 minutes. It appeared to stay and I was afraid to test by prying on it. That's the last time I saw this piece. The next morning it fell off on my way to work. Will not purchase again unless I am sure they have corrected the tape issue.
The fit and finish is main reason for two stars. Material is flimsy and fit is very poor. I expected more. I have my doubts about the ability to protect considering the fit.
The New Generation Baker GL 1800 Adjustable Hand Wings are easily installed. I wish I had installed these before my trip to the Grand Canyon and Four Corners. Looking forward to my next trip with the ability to control the air flow as desired.

If you work on your bike, this is an absolute "must have". Fred goes into more detail than the owner's manual and the old saying "a picture is worth a thousand words" really applies here. One of the best investments you can make for your bike. |
I give this luggage rack 4 stars only because I think it could have more places to hook straps on. The rack it self is Very Nice. Great Chorome Work. Install was a snap. LOOKS GREAT, WORKS GOOD, NICE ACCENT FOR THE BACK OF THE GL 1800 when not in use. Thanks WingStuff for the fast delivery. 4 days and the door bell was ringing.
I give this a 5 star. I chose this back rest because a lot of riders said the other one hurt the passangers leg. I'm not sure if it's because my wife is 5'2" tall but she never complained about this hurting her legs. This was a quick and easy install. We just got back from the 2011 MDA Tomahawk Wisconsin Fall Ride. This back rest saved my back and let me ride for eight and a half hours with no pain. Highly reccomend this product.
