Installed on my 2012 GoldWing! Installed in seconds! They feel really heavy and look very good. Adds some bling to the handle bars.
Really dresses up the trunk especially if you do not have a luggage rack or spoiler. Need to take your time when installing as to get the template on just right. I drilled the hole several times in small increments as to make sure and not crack the the trunk. The holes are very close to the edge. The handle is also very practicle for opening the trunk.
Just installed these on my 2012 ABS Goldwing! It was an easy install follow the instructions and all should go well. The rubber sleeve goes over the stock grips(at least for the heated grips) and you will need the washer fluid makes installing the rubber sleeve much easier. And you will also need the zip ties as I found it almost impossible to squeeze with your hands to make the chrome bars connect. Have not tried the heat function yet as it not cold enough in NJ yet..But it will be soon..Safe riding!!

I will be fair because I really do like a lot of the products that Kuryakyn manufactures so I will rate this five stars. Turns out that I can't use it...which disappoints me, but my 2012 Gold Wing has an Airbag. Either way it's mounted, I feel that it wouldn't be a good idea to have it sitting between myself and the airbag. If, for any reason, the airbag were to deploy -- I see the cup holder doing one of two (or both) things. 1) Airbag deploys, sends cup holder flying toward me at incredible speeds...severe injuries. 2) Airbag deploys, hits cup holder, tears fabric -- airbag is useless. These events may or may not occur, so please don't base your decision to purchase solely on my review or opinion. You might find that mounting the bracket so it holds the drink holder lower will interfere with your ability to turn left somewhat as the bottom of the holder will hit the bike. Use your best judgement when installing. I think if the handlebars were raised a little higher and separated further, this probably wouldn't be an issue, but I don't have those parts yet. Either way, it's a great product -- just wish it fit a little differently on mine. |
Really like how it dresses up the front on the bike...easy, easy to install...just make sure that you clean the area and then use some tape to keep it in place for a couple hours...that will ensure that there are no gaps for water to get in and ruin the glue on the tape
Works great...I had a problem with the nut vibrating off at first...put a little blue loc tight on and tightened...no more problems...been 2,560 miles and still tight. I do agree though...a liner would be a nice touch.
I was kept waiting for 22 days for a liter of 5 wt oil and a liter of 10 wt oil. The 5 wt. had a big #5 so the other had to be 10 but no large number. It seemed thin so I looked harder at the bottle and it is 7 wt. which was not even available on the drop down menu. It is open and can't be returned and I am not happy. Apparently the order picker made the same mistake that I did. Thankfully, it was only $ 8.99.
My two cents...After 3500+ miles on the Bridgestones I am very happy with these tires. No wobble at any speed, great cornering. I agree with all the top raters about these tires. I switched to the Bridgestones from the E3"s, only because I wanted to see if there would be an improvement and just to compare the two different tires. I was very happy with the Dunlops as well, did not get any front end wobble until about 10k and they lasted until 14k when they hit the wear bars. If I had to pick, I'd probably go with the Bridgestones again, they really feel solid when going hard, but then the Dunlops felt ok too. I'll see how they wear over time. Front and rear at 41psi, rear 70 series.
Wow, what a difference these pads make to the stopping power of the bike. Last year I installed front & rear pads purchased off the Internet. I was very unhappy with the increased stopping distance. This year, just before our 7500 km trip to Wyoming, I ordered these OEM pads from Wingstuff & installed them. What a huge difference they made. I am never again using anything but OEM pads. Well worth the money. Thank you Wingstuff!
Not the best sound quality. Better than the riped cone speakers I had and better than nothing. I couldn't find any 5" speakers that wouldn't be distroyed by water so actually... they're great. :-)
Really nice. The plastic color is not as dark as stock lighting but not that noticible. I thought the fit wasn't any worse than the lights I replaced (due to faded color). I did have problems with all the bulbs working at the same time. checked that all the bulbs lit before I installed the light set. once installed I noticed 1 bulb unlight. had to remove light from saddle bag and then ~10 screw to get to the bulbs. Had to manipulate the bulb contact to make a good connction to the socket. reassembled and then a different one was out. had to take it all apart again. this time checked all the bulbs. all worked fine ...for now. It's a big pain in the B hind, but check that all the bulb connections will make good connection to the socket before you install the lights on the bike. You could save yourself some frustrations later.
EXCELLENT... looks good with any color bike (mine is titanium) and installed in 45 minutes... I took my time.. Really helps the front in slow speeds, and seems to make the bike much more stable at all speeeds.
