bought from honda dealer, was made by show chrome honda didn't want to know anything.show chrome said after 1 year youré on your own.my cowl faded to a dull finish and the top had green spots on the top where the water sits on top of the cowl. all other chrome like new after 4 years. I own a 2008 Honda Goldwing 1800 trike,I keep it covered, washed and waxed.their chrome in my opinion rates 3 out of 10 10 being great
I installed the 34 oz size cup holder on my 2006 GL1800 and had it done in 25 minutes. After the first ride I felt it was too far toward the rider so I reversed the swivel bracket and mounted it on the side closer to the windshield. Perfect fit and now I have more room to move and get to the bike controls. The 34 oz size is just right for my thirst and I don't know why you would want a smaller one. Love the extra lid for coffee and exotic drinks, (non-alcoholic only), I've been on the wagon since 1987. Great product and I would recommend it for any bike.
I used these on a 3,000 mile trip w/ 105+ high temps. Not sure if it's hand sweat that causes it, but the chrome started flaking off shortly after installation. What doesn't peel off stains black too (that chrome polish has trouble removing). Later in the year I used them in 40F rain, and could barely feel the heat grips if at all. However, they do help with grip radius and no cramping on long rides.
I installed the J&M headset and mic in an open face HJC helmet. The cable fit just right and connected to my 2006 model GL1800 installed intercom/audio cable connector. Fit is nice and tight as to keep the cables from coming disconnected during riding. Great product. I'll now order one for the passenger helmet.
Installation was a breeze (
This is a very nice backrest. Installation went well after the fear of cutting into the seat wore off. It took about an hour to install. I took a 50 mile on Easter Sunday and was really impressed with the comfort. It is easy to make forward & back adjustments while riding.
Installation was OK and it works fine. On a trip it had to set out in an overnight rain, IT GOT RUSTY in the grooves in the heel and toe pedals BECAUSE THOSE PIECES ARE NOT CHROMED (?). Kury replaced them N/C but should not have the problem to start with. I had to make an extension for the side stand because the heel pedal obscures the side stand and makes it almost impossible to lower the stand. Kury should include a part to install on the side stand

Put front and rear Cobras on 17K miles ago. I had a nail in the rear and replaced it with another Cobra insted of repair. It had 3/32 at the wear bar and I would have gone a while longer and done front and rear at the same time. Yes it was cupped and made some noise in sweeping turns but that only seemed to become really noticeable the last 3K miles I'd guess. Have always run 41 front and rear and put the cetramatics on at about 2K into their run. I check other guys tires all the time to see how my wear might compare to theirs and comparisons have always been in favor of my Cobras. Great tire and I'll stay with them as long as no-one else has something magical. Todays ride was totally SMOOTH. |
Easy install. Wife loves the position. Great quality.
This review follows my one on 3/23/12. I install a new Michlien on the front at same time. As of 700 miles I do not see the great WOW except the hole in my wallet. I am a machinist and do a lot of balancing at work. I was sketic about this product and do not feel anything better than a good weight balance. Freinds told me not to add to a used tire because the tire may be out of balance due to the weight method. My reply was "I thought this was such a great balancer"
I bought the airhawk for myself because I was having hard seat issues with one of my large bore cruisers. I have a custom seat for that bike that still wasnt solving my problems. The seat paid for itself with the elimination of the vibrations and monkey butt. Since the airhawk is transferrable I also used it on my Goldwing. I have had two hip surgeries and cannot take vibration or any pressure to my hip for any length of time. With the use of this product I just finished riding the 48. I have had the product for several years now and on this last ride I forgot to remove the seat from the sun while I attended an event. When I returned the air inside had heated and caused the pad to swell. When I sat on the pad a seam in the front came loose. I went to a SCUBA shop and got some "Aqua Seal" that allowed a repair on the spot. This is a great product that I cannot give enough accolades too. I can say you won't be disappointed. I, like another reviewer, normally remove my airhawk when not using it to prevent theft and prolong the useful life. The airhawk cover has lasted many many years without needing replacement probably due to me not leaving it unattended in the sun. I also bought the airhawk pillion seat for my wife since I do have the Utopia backrest installed. I will not hesitate to spend the money again to buy another Airhawk once I have squeezed every ounce of useful life out of the one I have now. I can tell you I have had my Airhawk since 2004 and never had an issue until last week. I can ride very long distances daily when touring only because of this seat. Without the airhawk my days of riding would be coming to an untimely end.
I liked this shirt because they had it in both mens and womens.. Bought it for both myself and my wife. It is a little thin but this could be good in that you could wear it even when the weather starts to get a little warm.
