I installed this on my bike last year. Followed the instructions and it was easy as pie. Hooked up the trailer and tested and everything worked fine. Did have one problem though after a trip for some reason the fuse blew not sure if the trailer connectors got wet or not. Will update after next trip.
Put this on my 05 goldwing. Had a buddy to help, Glad I did, Because it made things go alot smoother. We followed the downloaded instructions and removed the mufflers and everything went good with the only problem was the H bracket had to be nudged a little to get the bolt holes to line up. But with 2 people working together even that was a Minor Issue.
These are very nice highway pegs but a person should be afforded the opportunity to choose which size arms to use with them. The six inch ones don't work for me in any position...so if I order the shorter ones then what do I do with these? once again; C'mon Kuryakyn you're making enough money not to resort to these marketing tactics.Three stars for that.
Cheap plastic units looked good enough when installed. They installed easily enough. Then I discovered that the attachment mechanism is stamped steel and does scratch the clearcoat. However, I was most unhappy with the limited range of adjustability and therefore could not adjust them to provide any value for me. So I removed them and sent them to the trash bin. Sure glad they were inexpensive.
This is a must have, am very happy that I added this item.
Love the looks, easy install.
This is a must have and fits well.
Had this cover over a year it has faded a little due to the sun. It has a done a great job keeping it clean and dry even in the worst storms. The fading is normal from the sun better the cover than my bike. I give it five stars all the way
OOOAH, SEMPER FI!

These pegs went on very quickly and work fine. It took a few times to get them tightened up so the position/adjustments would not slip. I have the short arms as I am just over 6 feet with a 34 inch inseam. Initially I had them too low and I would scrape the blades when taking even a shallow turn. Having them too low had my legs completely straight when in use which resulted in tiredness in the knees and joints. After a 300 mile trip, I decided to position the pegs higher. This allowed a slight bend in the legs/knees and eliminated the stress in the legs and I had no more scraping of the pegs… except for very radical leans….. but I also scrape my stock pegs (around the shifted) during radical leans. Guess I could slow down……. Nah!!!! |
This product went on easier that I thought. Works great once used to it. I need a Side stand extender as it is a bit tight with the shifter there and my big foot. As far as the comment that this will not fit on a 2010....... I have a 2010 and it fit just fine. I recommend the product.
I've had these pegs on about 6 months now. I'm giving this 3 stars because of the following. #1) I agree with the other members on the installation instruction. It would be helpful if the right and left arms were tagged, for quicker installation. #2)I've configured them in many different ways, but not yet found the right comfort zone. I bought these so I could stretch out my legs, but the inside of my leg rubs on the fairing. #3) They look good and the quality of the product is good.
