just purchased this cover, was concered about the fit because of the rear air foil. all i can say is wow plenty of room nice fit even with the rear air foil. ride to work every day so it saves time covering. i would give it a 5 but hav'nt had a florida down pour yet. |
| These were tough to install. I already had the Kury rack and spoiler, so the holes were already there. My previous installer stripped the allen head bolts and now I see why, so it started out difficult. What I found was that I had to not just enlarge the holes but enlarge them at the angle of the rack legs, then it got a lot easier. Also be sure to cover your trunk against scratches and put something over your open bike for dropped bolts and risers. Two more hands would have helped. Finally, when time to tighten up I used star head drill bits in my allen head bolts. They worked beautifully. No stripping. |
| I didn't get the tape situation at all with these. Is it me? Anyway, they look great and bulk up the mirrors nicely. |
| My first time using this was on a ride from NJ to Daytona Fl and my ass was in the worst pain I ever felt. I put air in and took some out a little at a time but could not find a comfortable level. On the way back I gave to one of my riding buddies. He's a Buffalo Soldier and has logged many many miles on his wing. An hour into the ride he was cursing me over the CB for giving him the Air Hawk to use. So It did not work for him either. |
| Went on a road trip just recent went through several different changes in the weather, had all my riding gear in this bag made it easy for me to stop and change. The rain cover worked great kept everything dry and bag stayed in place really well. I have no complaints with this bag great product. |

I bought this product 2 years ago. Its a well made item and its also very easy to install. It does what it was designed to do - Protect the bottom of the bike. I have not experienced any handling problems; and the engine temperature has not increased after the installation. Having said all that..... Once you install it; it will create an "Air flow restriction" (The Louvers are not sufficient to exhaust all the air that is flowing into the engine compartment). When the heat raises (Thermal dynamics), you will feel it in the seat of your pants. My bike has the "Comfort package", so I first thought that the heater was left on - wrong. On cool mornings or during the winter months, it's not noticeable - but when the heat index his 100 degrees here in Florida, the seat feels much hotter. The bottom line is Protection versus comfort - tuff choice! |

After the install, I can finally say this is a great addition to the 'Wing. I found it quite difficult to cut through the layers of the seat's foam padding. I must have pulled the knife out 10 or more times trying to meet up with the drilled holes for the bracket. Each time second guessing myself and worrying what hidden damage I was doing. Luckily all seems well but I was not pleased with myself. The support is amazing. This should have been my first or second accessory I put on the bike, it is that good! My wife feels the same way. It does not interfere with her getting on or off the bike and she loves the included pouch to hold her neccessities such as phone, lipstick, etc. (She took ownership of the pouch.) |
| I have used this manual for 4 years now and it leaves a lot to be desired. The wiring schematics do not show the plugs, so they cannot be used for troubleshooting. They show just enough to get you into serious trouble. Mechanical operations leave out many intermediate steps. I am a mechanic and use many service manuals and this is definitely a poor one. |
| quick shipping best price I could find, always happy with WS |

I had R3B's install 7 years ago by the owner of Pakit Rak while at a GWRRA Rally in Bakersfield on my then brand new 2005 GL1800. Lat year after 6 years of use I managed to break two of the R3B's off so I picked up some new ones at Wingstuff and replaced all 4 R3B's. I had replaced one earlier with the Extra one Pakit Rak provides with the originals, what a PAIN to install, not easy to get into the hole! Anyways, they have changed the design of the R3B's. They are very easy to install now that they added a bit of a tail to them that can be grabbed with pliers and easily pulled through the mounting holes! 7 years and 52,000 miles on my Wing with ZERO trunk chaffing or any other problems that may be related to the R3B's! Simple inexpensive solution that works! |
| I'm as happy as a clam with this windshield. It does everything they claim. Much stiffer, no buffeting, less wind on myself and the passanger and not much distortion when I'm looking through the shield. Honda should have been the ones to reseach this further. maybe on their 2014 Goldwing they'll get it right. I would recommend this change to all goldwings. Oh I forgot to mention this. It makes for a much more stable platform for anyone who is mounting their GoPro on the side of the windshield such as I do. |
