| Installed these at the same time I put the centramatics on. Great ride and very smooth to begin with, but had to replace the back tire at 6500 miles. Tire was completely worn out and extremely cupped. Was hoping to get a lot more miles out of the tire than that, especially since I was meticulous about keeping correct tire pressure. Front tire will probably be replace in less than a 1000 miles, so needless to say, I'm not a big fan of Avon Cobra tires. If I was rating on handling capabilities, it would be a 10. But add it all up and I won't be buying these tires again. |
| After couple ride, the top portions stick out, the kind of tape (foam) is very stiff, I had to use super glue on both sides of the sticky and both sides of the bike on all four of them to make sure. But the the look is good and protect from stone chips and boots. It still a good buy. See on my pics. |
| Still look nice on mine for now, I have seen other model, the ones attached bellow the seat and the get loose, and not solid like these one. It a good buy, good look, and solid. I am still lucky with the chrome. |
| Now I have tried it for long ride, I can tell this is one of the best buy I made, it relax the back, and the passenger as no bar in the way so less complain, no pain. Very comfortable, easy to install, and because it fold, easy for passenger to get off the bike |
| Great buy, looks good and it doesn't hide the light. It sits good, just have to make sure it in the right place at the first time, or super glue is required. Have a look to my pics. |
| Like other said, for the price and the quality of this product, this is a must to have. It is smooth, clean and if you leave your cell, computer or anything that can be scratch, it will be safe with this carpet in. |
| The brace did not get rid of the wobble, new steering head bearing did. The brace did tighten up the feel of low speed parking lot manuvers. I could feel an improvement the second I pulled out of the drive - Love it |
| very ,very Nice. These add alot to your evening rides. Istall was not difficult, dont press on the light part they will come loose and you will reglue them - LOL. excellent quality, I would but them again. |
| Adds a nice touch to the boring existing surround. But it did take me two days to figure out why I had no spark or fuel so my bike would not start. It seems with the Aussie & Euro Gl1800's that the HISS security system wont work through the plastic chrome surround. Thanks to Wingstuff when I highlighted this issue they have made mention of this on the products web page. So Cheers to Wingstuff. But for you North Americans it looks sweet as, and easy to install |
| Drill hole where marked in side pocket. Plug wire into existing connector. Done. Easy. Outlet comes on with key. |
| I hvae a 04 with 47000 an when new it was very smooth,then the fist set of tires where dunlaps,wobble an shake,so I tryed these stones and a lot better and have had these ever since.This spring I ordered the centramatic balance system because of all of the great reviewes on shake and tire wear. Our first ride was this past weekend and so far not sure,BUT the 70ser.tire I love the increase in tire size and extra load (we always ride 2up and with a trailer)As soon as we left the drive the back felt like a snow tire with the big knobs (I think the tread is too far apart or too agressive)I hope this will wear in and smooth out! I sure wish that Michelin would make tires for 1800's. |
| I buy almost all of my bike toys from wing stuff so when I first seen this product at wing ding my first thought was to get home and read some reviews before I decide on buying this.After getting these in my hands I had high hopes of seeing a improvement in our ride .I"m not ready to give up yet because I just put on a new stone up front an the rear has about 8thou.it,and also my rear has beads in it.I've got a rear shake that has been fixed by removing the rear balance ring,I'm hopeing that when the rear tire gets replaced (without the beads)an the ring reinstalled the shake will be gone.Has anyone had this happen to them? |
