I hvae a 04 with 47000 an when new it was very smooth, then the fist set of tires where dunlaps, wobble an shake,so I tryed these stones and a lot better and have had these ever since. This spring I ordered the centramatic balance system because of all of the great reviewes on shake and tire wear. Our first ride was this past weekend and so far not sure,BUT the 70ser.tire I love the increase in tire size and extra load (we always ride 2up and with a trailer)As soon as we left the drive the back felt like a snow tire with the big knobs (I think the tread is too far apart or too agressive)I hope this will wear in and smooth out! I sure wish that Michelin would make tires for 1800's.
I buy almost all of my bike toys from wing stuff so when I first seen this product at wing ding my first thought was to get home and read some reviews before I decide on buying this. After getting these in my hands I had high hopes of seeing a improvement in our ride .I"m not ready to give up yet because I just put on a new stone up front an the rear has about 8thou.it,and also my rear has beads in it.I've got a rear shake that has been fixed by removing the rear balance ring,I'm hopeing that when the rear tire gets replaced (without the beads)an the ring reinstalled the shake will be gone.Has anyone had this happen to them?
Rack is less than 2 years old and I'm already noticing the chrome starting to bubble and getting ready to peel. I'll contact Kuryakyn but from reading other reviews don't think I will get to far. May end up taking it of long enough to blast and powdercoat it. Starting to wish I would have gone with the cheaper version that uses the round bar.
I ordered this jacket and upon opening it noticed that it appeared to be a good quality. BUT when I tried to put it on, it barely made it over my shoulders. I wear a 3x in everything, and have for years. The jacket was labeled 3x, but there was no way possible that it was a 3x, it was more like an extra large. The sizing was poor, and I must say I am disappointed because it looked really nice. It would have been perfect for when riding and the temps start to dip, to stay warm... But, it just didn't even come close to fitting, sorry Wingstuff!

Had my first ride today using the pegs and what a difference they make. Very comfortable in the sitting position, which I think allows better blood circulation for my legs and help with my back posture. I'm just praying the chrome holds up in this hawaii weather "RUST". Installation wasn't that bad considering the instructions ain't that great. I went over the instructions at least a dozen time before putting the pegs on. Once you install one side, the other side should go on quick. More pictures should be added to the instructions to help with the visual, that's the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. The construction of these pegs is top notch, you can tell when you feel the weight, "HEAVY DUTY". The chrome looks nice and as I mentioned at the top, I hope they hold up. I was worried about the pegs slipping during my ride but, after seeing the adjustable stop on the pegs, I don't beleive these pegs will ever slip, unless you forget to tighten all the screws and bolts. Finally, the pegs add a different look to my bike, sort of like "Bling". Adds a little flare and looks great, for now. I hope this helps. |
I installed these on my '03, then on my '08 and now on my'12. Same set, 3 bikes. Not sure what adapters they are talking about, I never used any. I use 2 Scotch Locks on each side, no stripping needed. Very easy to install and a good safety addition day or night.
I paired this product with Bose in-ear head sets....yeah, sweet. My wife loves them too.
I should get a commission from All Balls. Have had two more friends install them on their GL1800 bikes and they couldn't be happier. Honda should be ashamed not to fix this.

Looks good on the bike had it fitted by the dealer before picking up from the shop with allthe road repairs we have down here good protection and keeps bottom of bike clean
Just put the cowl on and it really enhances the look of the bike. I had a difficult time putting it on. I was able to put every screw back on but one. I had to enlist a friend help to get the last screw on. For me it was the right bottom screw. It got four stars due to the difficulty of putting it on.
I purchased this bearing kit as part of my suspension upgrade. My Gold Wing tracks true at high and low speeds. It's a big plus. No more Kentucky windage on a 900+ pound motorcycle.
