Lights are great, size is great for mounting anywhere. However, the first heavy dew will short this sucker out and your $$ are just gone. Was a waste of money for me.
I've got 3500 miles on these after replacing the orignal Dunlops at 14k. The 'stones have no visable wear whatsoever. They do have an advantage in life because I also had the Centramatic balancers installed at the same time. Still, very quiet, great grip on the road. Best tire deal out there, you will not go wrong with these.
if your gonna replace the lower cowl with a chrome one this is a must to finish out the look
easy install and would really recomend the spring also. looks pretty sharp
Had them on a week and had to remove. Would not stay stuck on the sides even though I cleaned the mirror surface with alcohol pads 3 times and clamped the pieces on. Should have had two layers of 3m tape instead of just one.
I have a 32" inseam and these fit me perfect on my goldwing all the other arms are to long and dont fit anyone taller than me(Short me) so start with these dont waste money on the longer arms. The only way to use the longer arms is with them turned down and then they will hit in a turn not safe at all. Use these short ofset arms for 32" inseam or longer.
I purchased a set of these armrest with the drink holder. at first we liked them, then the cup holder flaked and was hard to use. within about 6 months one completly broke off, so we purchased a replacement. now its been about two years. I was riding by myself no passenger, hit a pot hole, and the left one snapped off. is unrepairable, I did manage to move the cup holder to the other side for now, but only have one armrest. not sure if I want to buy this style again, or try somthing differant. I ride in all kinds of weather, on all kinds of roads, not sure if that had somthing to do with them breaking off or if i just got a bad set. trying to find a motorcycle grave yard that might have the one i am missing, the last one that broke also took 1/2 of my antena bracket with it. it doesn't stop me from riding, but wife isn't real happy about it.
I have had another set of led moldings on my bike, Show Chrome with clear lens. They don't compare is brightness and visibility with these. Have wanted to change them for quite some time and finally did. Much happier! Simple install If you have not attempted anything like this just watch the video.
Poor specs; i.e. Length, width, diameter.
Great product for a stock GL1800. However, if you have your bike converted to a trike with the ground effects (my is the California Sidecar Trike Converstion), this product will not work. Not enough room between the Groung Effects and the factory crash guard.
I do not understand why so many had issues with mounting the velcro strap. It loops around the ignition panel right below the key. The bottom twin flaps go under the gas tank door. Simple! I put each weekends' route sheet in it and it is a lot better than taping them to my windshield(which is what I used to do, and the tape damaged my windshield).
If you thinking of a backrest this is the one! Don't worry about the install it is very easy even with the heated seats. Offers several adjustment positions, up and down as well as front and back. Makes for a much more comfortable ride!
