Great bang for the buck. Easy install with great results. Blends well with the OEM Honda emblem.
I installed this item on my 2012 GW without the vertical LED accent lights and it really dresses up the black fender filler in the rear of the bike. I wasn't sure how it would look by it self, but it looks great! I'm not sure why they include the self adhesive tape because the location of the tape is useless as it doesn't make contact with the bike. The two mounting screws are all that's needed to secure the light to the bike. The LED's in this light is much brighter than the OEM brake/run lights which is an added safety feature.

Just purchased/received/installed the light. Fairly cheap design/setup. Being as I"m running a NON stock license plate bracket/attaching, it took some 'modifying' to make it work with my setup. (not THE lights fault). Easily enough to figure out which 3 wires to hook into (with the help of the guys on the GW forums). LOL. Plenty of light back there. BRAKE light is really bright. Worth the money. |
First, thanks to all of you who left a review. It helped when installing. Installed in 15 minutes, was real careful removing the trim. Used a 7/8 inch spade and worked perfectly. Also, did not change the fuse.
Very easy to install and looks great
My wife loves them.

These alloy multi-purpose antioilleak sealrings are scientifically formulated to create a temporary bond between your plug and your pan. When used properly and installed with the right torque, temperature, and temperament, they will last until your next lubricant exchange process. I've tried them all, and metallurogically speaking, these are by far the best out there. (They are crush washers, for goodness sakes! You need them, now get them!) |
I love my bra. I blacked out the Goldwing Logo and painted a large Eightball graphic on it and it's lasted well over a year in all-weather riding. Good fit, good construction. Just don't leave it on your bike when it's wet and wax the dickens out of the garnish before you install. Way to go Honda!
I was expecting not to like or use this much, but I do! I mounted mine against the back wall of the trunk and it keeps stuff from rolling around in the trunk when I don't have it stuffed full. When I am not using it, it's outta the way. I like that. Come to think of it, I actually have the Hondaline version, but how much different can it be, eh?
These are okay. They do the job. But, if you're like me and want to upgrade to a TPMS (Like the Doran), get the screw on type that are all metal (chrome). They last longer, look better, etc. Doran sells them for about $10. Yes!
One side burned out. No, it wasn't the wiring, it was the LEDs. I like them enough I will probably order them again when I get over my own frustration of having another Kury product failure!!! (think happy thoughts...)
In a perfect world the rubber wouldn't get hard and start to break. Lost one that way. Installing was okay if you exercise patience and follow the instructions. After using these for a couple years, I may now need to replace them. Meh.
