Easy install, looks good and wife loves them. More comfort for longer rides.
Hmmm, these look like RC aircraft axle locks. Why didn't I think of that??? Hope you sell a million! Great idea.
Put mine on in about 45 minutes. I have a bike lift so clearence wasnt a problem, biggest challenge was breaking loose the bolts. Used a spring tool and it came off and back on easily. Works great can use reverse to back up on the stand and ride off.

I have a knee problem and it was very difficult for me to put my GW on the center stand. I installed the center stand in 25 minutes. Make sure, you use the coin trick. (Very helpful) Now it is more than easy to get my Baby on the stand with or without reverse. This unit is a must. Always ride save. |
I had mine for 2 years now with no problems. If my charging system goes out I want to know before Im stranded somewhere, early warning is key. This little gage can be hidden out of plain sight or put into full view. Install is simple using any power wire available and a good ground. Worth every penny!
5 stars for the looks, but these are not as strong as the OEM ones, so take alot of care during install and try to do it when its warm. These small tabs will break very easily, and trust me, you will be already frustrated after the 10 minutes it takes you to get them out of the shrink wrap, which is why I give the 4 stars!
This is a great addition for those plain saddle bags. Give them a nice clean look without to much bling for those of us that don't want a chome bike. Easy install and a great price, they look much better on the bike than in this stock photo!

Like many, it's a must for the wife, and approved by the better half. Good quality build constructions, but when it comes to real quality, only time will tell. I do have an issue with having to swing the armrests out before going into the trunk. I think they could have designed them better for the newer models, so this would not be an issue (factory built in armrest/speakers hit armrest support bar when you open the trunk). Not sure if it is due to lack of quality, riding on laurels, or not enough of us have refused to purchase the arm-rest until they re-design... I considered having my Father-in-law cut the swing arm off and re-weld, but then would have to re-chrome! I would like kuryakyn to redesign the armrest and send me out the new set, but you know that is going to happen! Don't get me wrong - quality of the kuryakyn product line seems the tops... |
The install was easy, the quality of the materials is very good and the lights are very bright BUT I ordered the lights in May 2012, received a notice that they were on back order (which I already knew). E/C asked if I'd like to still process the order. I said yes, I still wanted the lights. I finally received them in January 2013. Guess its a good thing I hadn't given up and purchased some other brand in the ensuing 6 months.
Install was straight forward and it works well. The welds will begin rust if you don't take care and wax them well.
After installing these and dealing with the eventual clogged valve in the stem, transfer to new tires, etc. I don't think there was a value add. I get 17K on my Elite 3s without these and didn't do any better with them
These do a good job of getting the wind and rain off you lower leg but they do not last. If you ride a lot, these will break off on you sooner rather than later. Wish they'd use a better material.
