| Despite what other companies tell you, their technology will not create a better signal than the Hondaline antenna. What you will NOT get with other companies is a perfect factory match to the radio antenna and Honda quality. One bit of advice; ground your antenna well, find a good spot to ground it to the frame and you will get a little better transmission quality and range, also, meter your antenna, mine was perfect from the factory which results in the 5 star rating. |
| This is one of those things that you really don't want to spend the money on because you might not use it very much, but that one time you need or want to use it you are VERY happy that you have it. I'm glad I got it, but sheesh, it's just too expensive. The most expensive Cobra system I could find at a Pilot station was only $400. Despite the cost, installation was a breeze, only 2 holes to drill (get a good set of step drill bits or a couple of hole saws, don't use paddle bits IMHO) and wiring was a snap. Range is limited, as to be expected, to about a mile or so, less in the mountains. Lost a star due to unnecessarily expensive for ancient technology. |

I bought these a few months ago and wanted to put some miles on them before I wrote my review. I have done so and I have to say that these are a SIGNIFICANT upgrade from the OEM E3s. I got about 10k on my E3s before the center rear was just worn to the threads. I always keep my tire pressure up (I prefer to run 40F/42R) and even still, the cupping on the E3 was horrid. I now have about 4k on the Bridgestones and they are holding up marvelously. There is still a little cupping, but that is normal for any tire with the stock suspension and it is truly minimal, but then again, I am a pretty aggressive rider and demand quite a bit from my tires. The grip is fantastic and they are very confidence inspiring. As far as road noise goes, they are very quiet while on the center, but they do hum a bit while leaning. Wet traction is excellent. Dry traction is what you would expect from a 'stone. Shortly after break in, I took them up to US-129, known by many as the "Tail of the Dragon" and they were flawless peg to peg. BOTTOM LINE: I will never go back to the Dunlops, which slipped out from under me one day while turning on a wet patch of an intersection, and have regained all confidence in heavy bike tires with these Bridgestones. They are a quiet and comfortable ride with more than adequate grip, even wear, and good durability. Unless they perfect the hoverbike, this will be my next set of tires as well. |
| These tires that I bought might be good or bad I have a 2012 Goldwing with 10,000 and after new tires installed I have a low speed front tire wobble Honda shop balance again said its the front tire.I love Bridgestones Tires and never had a low speed wobble before even with worn down tires but I dont what to do because I bought online tires and if would have bought honda dealer tires a new one would been installed with out any problems already (Honda Shop stated this).I love Wing Stuff but this makes rethink buy tires online. |
| I haven't installed this yet, but I'm sure it will work. I just thought I would comment on the price of this "item". It sounds like someone at Wingstuff is using added value pricing, based on what this shim/screws does to make this cost so much. I don't see any other reviews mentioning this, so I guess it is a concern on my part............................. |
| My Wing is an 03 and came with the origanal Dunlops. I first replaced them with Elite III's and liked the handling. They were noisy. Then the front began cupping badly and eventually introduced a little wobble occasionally. Back tire was fine. Then I replaced them with the Stones. The Stones have not been cupping or wobbling, but they do not last quite as long as the Elite III's. The Stones do not like tar strips as many have mentioned. The rear does not wear as evenly as the Dunlop does. Note that I discovered the running about 3 or 4 lbs. of air over the recommended pressures makes the bike more stable and significantly reduces front cupping. I am an aggressive back-road rider (no interstates) that wears out tires faster than most people. If I get 12K miles on a set, I am happy. I have Metzeler and Pirelli experience on my sport bikes but not on the Wing. I do not care for them and prefer Michelins or Dunlops. I wish Michelin made tires for the Wing. |
| This is an update to my privious review. I now have little over 6000 miles on these tires and everything look good. I have rode in very wet conditions, also in area of where snow was still along the shoulder of the roads. These tire handle very well as long as you use common sense with you driving. I have another trip planned at the end of May for the Dakotas, Minnisota,Wisconsin and Iowa an this set of ME880 tires with be making that trip. Keep a check on the air pressures that does make a lot of difference on the life and handling of these or any tire. |

Nice organizer but it will reduce the volume of your trunk so you cant store your helmet, I wish they change the design in order not to effect the volume of the trunk. I removed the storage pouches from the board and attached them directly to the trunk |

Bought the kit to replace the OEM that came with my bike that was borrowed by a friend. Having this kit more than replaces the tools that came with my Wing or Valkyrie. |
| Bought these for my 2nd ride - Honda Valkyrie. Work great and definitely extend the life of my tires. |
| For the rider who likes to do their own maintenance - a must. |
| Not only is this great with the power socket on the Wing/Valkyrie, it also works great in my car. |
