This is as basic as it gets. I used this to add a volt meter to my right hand side of the bike. Pluged into left side plug under pocket perfect length to right side of cowl for my added Volt meter.
Easy insatll drill a hole, snap into place and plug it in. About 5 min. It looks as good as the Honda part and fits the same place.

Install went very well! I think it took longer to cut out the plastic fork cover then it did for the rest of the install. Love the risers they have me sitting up straight not leaning forward at all. I am 5'8". Well worth the cost. I would recommend them for everyone!!111 I have 2008 without the airbag. |
Had a lot of fun installing this and drilling holes in my one week old to me 2005 Goldwing. The first steps in the instructions deal with removing the trunk...unless you really just want to take the time removing the trunk I recommend leaving it right where it is. The 28mm hole can be drilled from the saddle side. I was able 2 use an 1 1/8 unibit (step bit) and get it done cleanly. Because my Goldwing never had a CB and only 3800 miles on it after 8 years the switches and controls for the CB were a little reluctant at first but worked great after a days ride and jabber on the ride. Also please make sure you have the SWR set/checked on you CB antenna so as not to burn up a $600 CB with an out of spec SWR.
Installation was a breeze. just please be certain to make sure you have the SWR checked for this antenna. Mine was out and had to be shortened by about 5/8". I know this does not seem that significant but a CB with an out of spec SWR can burn up your CB, and at $600 for the factory CB this was a no brainer for me and a $20 bill at my local CB Radio shop. (Usually find them a Truck Stops).
Man, just received these in the Mail. Took about 15 minutes or so to remove the originals and replace them with these. They look very very good. Makes an entire side stand out. Wish I could have purchased this Chrome piece first before I purchased anything else. They look that good. So, what are you waiting for, go and order yours. You will not be disappointed. Trust me. What a perfect fit too. Thanks.
The Glove Box Cubby was a snap to install, but the cup holder is not very wide, you'll need to look for a small size water bottle fi fit.
I added these with the ISO grips and they complement them very well.
Looks great on my 2012 wing. The heated grips still work fine; I can still feel the heat through my gloves. I did not buy the chrome break and clutch levers because of the poor reviews but it still looks great.
A little bigger than I had expected but it still looks pretty good
Other posts about OEM connector location were a big help, you have to look for it but it’s there; must have to install lights.
Very simple install. Added comfort and great look< worth every penny.
