Bought these for my girlfriend so she has more foot/leg positions when we ride. I received these puppies to discover that the were pre-purchased and returned by someone else(slightly damaged I must say)I called cyclegiant customer service, explained the damage and clearly they were bought and returned before. They were fantastic on shipping me out a replacement/unopened footboards and I returned the damaged ones. Great looking and shiny, what else could you want. They are surprizingly heavy and very well constructed.Once again, customer service was second to none!!!!! VERY HAPPY and hopefully Donna will enjoy for she has yet to see them on the trike. Ride-on peeps!!!! |
| Having used several different Kury foot pegs, none of them give enough room on the Goldwing to clear the bottom of the fairing. I'm stumped why Kury has not wised up to the fact these pegs have to to extend further out to make a comfortable peg. |

I recently discovered that the towbar ball mount is actually not beefy enough to tow trailers for too many years. I use it to have a suitcase rack once in a while and this year I'm finding that the towbar is sagging due to the thin material the ball is mounted to. Just check out the newer hitch for the next gen 1800s and you'll see the towbar is beefier. Also notice that the trailer chains actually hook to the towbar and not to the hitch itself so if the pin breaks you still lose the trailer, whereas the new hitch for the next Gen's have the chains hooking to the hitch itself. My solution was to get an L angle bracket adapter and use a normal ball receiver. So lesson learned is look really close to what you're buying because I don't think this hitch is safe enough. |
| Replaced a Kury 1/2 cover that was getting old. This cover is twice the cover! Fit is perfect and has inside lining for the windshield and trunk as well as extra where the antenna folds. Very pleased |
| This is a must have if you ride in all seasons and climates. |
| Since my wife rides her own Goldwing 1800, I don't need this cup holder on my bike all the time but, when we do ride two up its quick to put it on when needed. I got one for her 1800 trike as well and we keep them in the trunk until we need them. |
| I am very please with the added rear end visibility (Brightness). I also found it very easy in loctaing the 14 pin connector. There was a litle challenge in reinstalling the seat bolts, worth the money! |

I bought this to get info about my 2010 wing. It falls a little short on that front. This CD is for 2006-2008 wings. It does come in handy when dismantling body parts but it doesn't get into some of the technical wiring that is on a 2010. It is still useful, so I have kept it, as most of the hardware is the same on these bikes. 3 stars for mislabeling. |
| Backrest itself works well, but I got caught in a 3" gusher and the backrest was soaked. The foam inside was soaked. Had to dry out because it would leak on my wife's thigh. |
| I am a professional mechanic and I specialize in Goldwings and all I can say is, this thing just plain works. Like a lot of things, there are cheaper versions but they aren't necessarily the same thing. I have used a less expensive version of this item from KT company and it was worthless. This item may cost more but it does exactly what it is designed to do. |
| I must say this is the best addition so far, love the look and the turn signal action-need to work on a tool to assist with the hinges. |
| Have had mine for the last 4 year, it has never let me down. Even after a long down time the Goldwing started right up. |
