I just installed these and found the instruction pretty sketchy. All the parts are marked with an "L" so I was trying to fit the right wings to the left side of the bike. A small, easily removed sticky label would help. Re,ember, the professionals do it all the time; a DIY guy like me does it once, which includes the learning curve. Better photos, changing the text to read "black spacers" instead of "white" (only took a moment to figure that out, but the initial reaction is that you're missing parts) would make a lot of difference. Plusses are that this is really good quality product. The inclusion of the very accurate and easy to use template for drilling and the drill bit are real plusses. I'm very satisfied with my purchase and highly recommend it |
| Perfect fit for any Wing. Spend 4 to 5 months during winter in Fredericksburg, a Texas. Can have chilly weather and high winds. This cover exceeds all my expectations. Rest of year in Colorado and keep bike covered even though in garage. Worth every penny. My 2010 Wing is in mint condition and certainly deserves a warm and toasty bike blanket. |
| Changed mine at 12K and it was still clean. Changed it again at 51K and it was probably overdue. Okay- it was overdue. I figure I'll go with every 25K from this point forward. Other than that, its an air filter, not much too it, but it needs to be changed to keep things running smooth. |
| Easy install, just peel and stick. Fills in the empty hole nicely. |
| I tried this and it was like having nothing covering the bike. I bought it a Wingding 35. When it rained that day, water had puddled on the seats under the cover. The vender was very nice, and refunded my money. |

I received my floorboards today and immediately set to work installing them. I took my time, and it took me about an hour an a half. Installation was pretty painless, and I was able to get them both installed without as much as chipping the paint off of my fingernails. My only complaint is the instructions are a bit confusing on the brake side, with a lot of extra stuff that really didn't matter. I was able to get the new brake pedal slid onto the shaft with the aid of some liquid dish detergent. I would also like to comment that the installation video is highly lacking. He quickly shows the installation of the shift side, but fails to demonstrate installation of the brake side, which IMO is much more difficult. After installation, I ended up with an extra deployment hook and bolts, plus an extra heel pedal for the shifter. I'm not sure if this is a mistake in packaging or what. I took her for a test ride right after installation, and found the heel/toe shifting to be very natural, the position of the boards very comfortable. I'm 5'8" with size 11 (woman's) feet, and found the positioning to be quite comfortable. I do have the Kuryakyn highway pegs, so I'm able to stretch my legs when on the open road. I've read all the reviews, and can understand why the big guys with the big feet (and big socks, LOL) might find this configuration uncomfortable. Pam |
| Easy to install, took about 40 minutes, Comes with good instructions, A good investment. |
| This extender does not come down as far as some others, but it does the job of keeping most of the road debris off the front cowling. It looks sharp and the chrome top with the black rubber bottom make it stand out. |
| Fear not once you get the seat off and figure out the pictures the install is easy. The instructions are confusing because the diagram is not labeled front and back but once you figure this out install is very easy. no problem cutting seat just be sure you have a long pointed knife. |
| As fender extensions seem to be a cause of problems for some, this mid-length flexible unit fits the bill for me. It saves a lot of road crap damaging the lower front cowl. |

I think the best backrest on the market as it doesn't foul the pillions leg position. Very comfortable increasing ride length, but I do find that with light air-mesh type jackets that your backplate liner wants to work upward on (our) bumpy roads. So, I have to get my pillion to push it back down my back periodically or it engages the rear lower edge of my helmet, making head inclination thwarted. |

Fitted the (AO) predecessor in '08, and when cleaning up the bike for trade-in noticed all the rust spots. A nice rack if it didn't rust ! |
