The Chrome kickstand looks good and is simple to install, the only thing is that when making a sharp left hand turn you will scrape the wider stance of the kickstand bottom. I have managed to do that about three times now. I will say that the chrome is still holding up..
I recently purchased my first Goldwing in November of 2013. I ordered these for my first road trip in January. These bags arrived one hour before I was to leave. Well, I was packed and ready to go, but I repacked the trunk bag and took the saddle bag liners with me. These bags were so much more than I expected!!! Good quality, well made and great looking. I am a lady rider and I took dress clothes, dress shoes, several pairs of jeans and t-shirts plus toiletries! It was great to be able to pack it and put it on the bike...
I installed the gloss black on my 2010 GL1800. Fits great and looks great. I like the black look on my caliente red 1800. I'm not into the chrome look any more.
I installed the black switch box over clutch side. The switches quality is outstanding fit & finish and there was no leakage. The wire blue, yellow, and white were minimally 12" too short. Obviously, this extended my overall installation time to two hours to extend wires. Added length was necessary for me to allow wires to be fully routed and hidden. All wires all colors should be the same length as red and black allowing the installer to shorten depending on application and route installer prefers. Small indicator lights make sighting easy and no confusion as to what light is on. Switch block definitely has oem appearance. I'm happy with end result.
Nice addition and really finishes off an otherwise dull fender. Fitted in 2 mins.
Fitted this to my 30th Anniversary, very easy 2 min job, and adds a classy touch to the front.
Installed these on my 30th Anniversary on top of a thin chrome trim that was already round the mirror edge. No problems fitting and the Claws stuck fast straight away. Only issue is now I think they look a bit OTT, the other Ku bits I've fitted are classy and look like original kit, these are a bit 'stick on'! Still probably get use to like them over time.

Make a big different in the cold wheather
I used a lot of spit and patience inserts these buggers. But no more misalignment and chaffing. Be advised. You gotta slam the trunk until they compress a bit.

These are sold with a 6" extension but for my inseam length (31") I found them too cramped for comfort. A 4" extension would work better for me. You can spend more money by buying either the 4 1/2" or the 1 1/2" extensions. Too bad that Kuraykin doesn't offer this option when you purchase. Placing the extension down from level to offer more legroom simply allows less cornering clearance. I found that doing so was not a safe option. The bodywork on the bike also limits how far you can extend your legs and maintain plenty of cornering clearance. The quality of the product is very good. |
Cheap liners and they work well. They do not fit the saddlebags completely-there is a fair amount of left over room but you can always shove extras in those spaces.
