I installed this on my bike a few weeks ago. I just return from a 300 mile trip - right away I could feel the difference. I have used the beads for a long time, but the Centramatic Balancers are over the top! Cons: Have them installed by a professional - it take a puller to remove the right side rotor on the front! Well worth the price once you feel the ride! |
| Pad looks great after a few years but now all of the shifter 'chrome' is flaking off, soon to be bare metal DI-cast. Everything else I've had Kuryakyn has been far and above the call of duty til this. Anyone know their warranty? The heal-toe works but only at a 'looks bad when stopped' loss. The 2 stars is only for the function and the foot pad but the shift chrome must be improved for the price. C'mon Kury what happened? |
| I have received my new fender covers. These are chrome plated and much more rigid than the original painted covers. If your covers are chromed, your fender may not flex enough to break. Mine were painted and broke after 26000 miles. |
| Bought these to go with my new "Mini" boards, they look fantastic and were easy to install. I love the fact that Kuryakyn provided new hardware to replace OEM hardware. Now if the chrome will hold up. |
| I just received these today on the mail as a gift from my son. Opened the box and was a little surprised how "Mini" these are. I guess my expectations were off a bit. Either way these are an easy installation and I especially liked the provided cotter pins to replace the ones currently on the bike. I used the aft mount hole to move the boards forward and tilted the front slighted down so I could shift and brake properly. I will let you know how that works out. Overall the look is nice and just sitting on the center putting my feet on these they seem much more comfortable than the pegs. I recommend these over the pegs (never had the floor boards so I can't comment) I purchased the chrome mounts and these make a nice match and come with new attaching hardware as well. Was a little apprehensive at first. Ran Avons Cobra for a long ways with conventional balance. Installed Dunlops E3s (got them for lest than half that is why the change. I do regularly check pressure) and installed Centramatic. Recommend using the Honda OEM torque for the bolts. After a 1000+ miles have NO issues with wheel / road vibrations / stability at speeds from 0 - 100 mph. Like Centramatic! Why? One can buy tires online for far less than at the local bike shop. Even if one have the tire irons / tools it is very hard to break the bead (I spent 3 hours trying and gave up). Took wheels to local car tire shop to break the bead. They did and mounted new tires correctly for $20 (yellow dot at valve and of course correct rotation). They just didn’t have a way to balance a MC wheel. Centramatic. All weights on wheels (sticky or crimped) should be removed. At this time, I believe Centramatic saves me a lot of money. Will see how far new tires go and wear. |
| My wife purchased these floorboards for me for Christmas 2013. Before buying, I looked at a fellow riders floorboards and sat on his center stand Wing. I thought they'd be the answer to comfortable riding long distances. I was dead wrong. I take nothing away from Kuryakyn's workmanship. They look sharp, no doubt. The trouble was, these floorboards raise your feet an inch, and for a tall person like me, 6'3", it was enough to throw off your posture. It raised my knees higher and caused me to slouch at the handlebars. Consequently, they came off and stock pegs are back on. |
| This fender extension is too heavy. After two years of having it on my fender I am now replacing the fender and fender covers because the constant flexing caused by the extra weight has broken all three pieces. Do not buy this fender extension. It will break your fender over time. |
| I bought a set of these last February. A little over a year on the bike, now they keep rusting. The only parts that last are Factory Honda parts and a few other manufactures. I have had nothing but bad luck with Kuryakyn parts holding up. The sad thing is, Kuryakyn has all the parts you want and not much choice for other quality manufactures. I would rather pay a little more for quality, then to have to keep replacing. |
| These work well for a little while, then the tiny wires break. I lost the right earphone first, then the microphone went. If you wear glasses these are very uncomfortable after a short period of time. Not worth wasting your money on these. |

I do not know what all the hype is here these grips look great,but function that is another story. Rubber not tacky enough, chrome cold, diameter too big unless you have large mitts you do not get the control like you would from Oury or Renthal rubber grips at 1/6 the price. I ride year round in New England and these grips are super cold in temps below 40 degrees. They are somewhat slick when wet as well. If you have small to average hands I would also stay away from these. If control and function is your thing than avoid these grips. If looks are what matter than by all means, they are beautiful. |
| Had the Exedra's on when I bought the wing and to be fair I had no complaint's. You know how it is when you get something new you get on the forums checking what other people think and so when it came time to change the tyres I went for Avon Cobra's. Well over the course of around 4.5k the rear of the bike developed a humming noise when cornering. I checked the rear Tyre and the cupping was horrendous which was what all the noise was about. The Bridgestone Exedra was developed just for the wing. so If it ain't broke don't try to fix it. I'll be runing Exedra's from now on. |
