| USB dual outlet is a true plug and play for all Goldwings. Installation time is about 30 minutes. You can't go wrong with this accessory. Remove left pocket, drill 1-1/8 inch hole in left fairing pocket. Pocket is marked on the back side from factory. Install USB outlet, plug into Red accessory plug forward of pocket. Reinstall pocket and your done. |

Just a concern before I placed my order for this product was the wire lengths leading from the switch block. Switch leads out are approximately 31" each on blue, yellow and white wires. Power leads in are 67" in length on red and black wires. All wires are covered by a soft/solid (not spiral or corrugated) PVC loom that will extend down the handle bar run. "Accessories may require their own relay and wiring as switches are rated at 20 amps." This quoted from install instructions. Looks like OEM, great fit and finish. Mike |

I had a very difficult time deciding on the +2 or +4. I read every review trying to decide. If your are in the same boat, this is my experience..... I ordered the +2 clear because I was uncomfortable with the un-adjustability factor of the +4. I also was afraid it would look too tall. I am 6' tall and many times in bad weather my factory windshield was so dirty that I could not see through it. Being able to see OVER it saved me from having to pull over and stop. I figured the +2 would still allow me to see over but I would have to sit up very straight. This is true when the shield is all the way down. HOWEVER.... I look right through the top of the shield at a natural position. Of course this is not ideal. I can hear you right now.... "just raise the shield". Ahhhh yes, so I did. This raises about three inches and I'm looking an inch or so below the top edge. Problem NOT solved. There is a slight distortion around the top and sides of this windshield. I'm looking right through it. I can slouch a bit and it's as clear as glass. Long story short, if I was to do it again, I would order the +4 and just be done with it. I hope this helps somebody like me. Overall, beautiful shield and super easy install. I will adjust to the size I ordered and make the best of it. |
| Well.... I wore my cool shirt to a gathering and all I kept hearing was "I LOVE THAT SHIRT!" "BUT, it looks too small on you." I guess in need an XXL.... I wear that size in absolutely nothing! UGH....... I'm tired of sending things back...... |
| After reading all the reviews, I had to try this stuff, and Im very happy i did, works great, cleans very well, and feels like you just waxed! |
| Just wanted to say thanks to wingstuff for returning and shipping out new sets. Finally got a good one. |
| This is a snap to install and really looks good on the bike. I followed the instructions and installed at the recommended location. It is plenty strong enough for its purpose. |

Without a doubt, this is the most detailed, comprehensive set of maintenance videos for the GL1800 Gold Wing out there. Everything you need to know and more about maintaining a GL1800 is in this package. Fred Harmon and his camera show you in painstaking detail every step of every job. Fred takes his time in explaining as he goes along. No ads, no fluff. I often take my laptop out to the garage with me when I'm doing work. This is work I'd never even attempt otherwise. I'm not a mechanic and I don't do well with just the manuals - I'm more visual and like to watch the work being done. These DVDs are like having an expert buddy in the garage right next to you. There are still some things I will not attempt because it's too involved and/or I don't have the proper tools but I find it valuable to see what I'm asking a mechanic to do - I'm a little happier to pay for the job and I have an idea what to check when it's done - just going over to make sure things were done right. Currently Fred is doing work for customers out of his own garage and, for those lucky enough to live near him, that's great! For the rest of us, this is a great alternative. Don't waste your time with other videos - this is the set to have. You won't regret this purchase. |
| Reflects the sun into your eyes. Just purchased a 2005 Goldwing with lots of chrome installed including this radio accent panel. Took my first long ride this weekend and was startled when the sun was reflected directly back into my eyes by the panel. Unnerving to say the least. When I got home, I immediately removed all chrome pieces in the rider/drivers view. |
| Looks exactly like the original except for the extra 2" taller. Makes a difference. The vent is nice to have on those hot and sticky days. |

This is a follow up review of the Westco Platinum Battery. My original stock battery lasted 5 plus years. I decided to try this battery as a timely replacement. I have had it in service for 2 years now and it just barely holds enough charge to start my wing after sitting for even 2 days. I use the same battery tender on this battery that I used on the original battery when the bike will not be ridden for a week or so. I have also been noticing a fault during start-up with my cb since this battery has shown itself to be "weak". Maybe I just got a lemon of a battery but Wingstuff was good in assisting me in acquiring a replacement battery. No more faults while booting up the electronics with the new battery. Great customer service from Wingstuff. Thanks Guys. |

I've had one for 30000 miles and love it. Looking over the top without scraficing wind protection is the best. I HIGHLY recommend getting the rake kit. It's a dramatic improvement over stock....which isn't bad. The Rake kit is worth all the money, especially if your a high miler like me. (25K a year minimum) Since I'm on the freeway close to 100 miles every day, I'm going to try the ST with the rake kit to see if it can perform any better than the HP at constant high speeds. I'll let you know how it goes at a later date. |
