I purchased this a few weeks ago after reading the reviews and suffering through rides with a sweaty **s. Ridden about 800 miles with it now. It definitely helped with keeping things cool and somewhat comfortable. I also thought it might help with the numbness in my family jewels that I frequently get. It did not seem to help in that way much. Frustrating - $27,000 "touring" machine that I can't stay on for much longer than 1 1/2 hours! Bought my Wing new in 2008 and have cussed at the seat every since! Have been stubborn and refused to get a new seat because of what I paid for the bike. But alas, my **s is getting old and so am I. The beaded seat cover does definitely help with the heat and I would recommend it.
While I was up in Madison WI, for the Wing Ding, I fell across this product while checking out the bikes outside the show hall. Since I had already had installed the centramatic on the front of my GW 1800 MotorTrike, I decided to get some improvement for the rear tires. So far so good. I watched the install, which was very easy. After the show, I continued my ride for another two weeks. Bike handled much smoother. It also helped that I had the centramatic and super brace installed. But anything that can help extend the life a my tires is a welcome addition.
I've own GW 1800 Motortrike for six years and have ridden close to 44k miles. Most of the mileage is from long rides 350-400 mi a day for several weeks at a time. My neck muscles would become very painful from a long days ride. Ice packs at night became routine. I always thought it was caused by my helmet, which is heavy. While I was at the Wing Ding in Madison this July, I decided to get the Centramatic installed at the show, along with the Super Brace. After the show, we drove up into Minnesota for a week then back down to Oklahoma. What an improvement on handling. No more vibration or shimmy driving on rain grooves, great stability on the open road and no more ice packs at night. My neck pain was gone. And I wasn't as tired after a long ride. The ride was so much smoother. You have nothing to lose by getting this system but so much to gain.

I bought these based off the positive reviews I read here and let me just say I am no mechanic but I can usually get the job done with decent instructions. That being said, the instructions are anything but decent which seems to be a common theme among motorcycle aftermarket parts. Maybe dealers pay off these manufactures in an attempt to get folks to bring their bikes in for $80-$100 an hour service rates. My local dealer said they would need 2 days to do the install......seriously? I can buy a lot of ibuprofen to relieve the aching muscles caused by the stock bars for that bill. Anyway, the install was cruising right along (thanks to youtube and not the included "instructions") until I noticed the cables weren't long enough with the new riser inserted. Not having a cable stretcher handy (sorry, old joke from my Military days), I removed the riser and put everything back together. I'm sure they work great but the residual cost is far more that I care to spend. I'll just take more breaks and stay out of iron butt rallys. On the flip side, I looked into taller handlebars for my Electra Glide and was told I'd be looking in the ballpark of $1,000. I suddenly liked to position of the bars on each bike better. Hope this helps.
Just got the pair delivered via UPS. I can't rate the tires yet as they have just been received. But I can tell you the delivery time was extremely fast. I ordered them yesterday morning and they were waiting for me when I got home the next day.
Very well built, easy to install, totally hidden when not in use. Highly recommend.
As previously noted my rear sensor malfunctioned while on a long trip. The replacement sensor arrived and functioned correctly for one week before suddenly registering my rear tire as 7 lbs low. After verifying that the sensor was faulty I returned the system for the second time. Cycle Giant then sent me a whole new system which I promptly returned to Wingstuff for a refund. A device designed to enhance safety, that malfunctions, is not acceptable. Would not recommend.
I have had these for years. The 03 has black color match instead of the chrome. The leds look as if they are floating in the paint. Not sure if they even make the color matched moldings anymore but in all the years, I have not lost one led yet.

The pegs, clamps, and arms are very nice. The instructions are OK....be sure to read and understand each step. I installed the arms horizontally and found that position to be perfect for me. My legs will rub against the fairing if I rest my feet on the inside of the pegs. When using the outside of the pegs my legs did not rub against the fairing. After several hours of riding the left peg retaining screw loosened. Be sure to use sufficient amount of lock tight. These pegs have increased my riding comfort and are well worth the price. Chrome OK so far.
