...when I bought/installed these bumpers 2 years ago for my other Gold Wing (I have two '08 Airbags - one for summer in Canada, one I just bought for wintering in AZ). After reading Coyote79's review I went to Home Depot and bought some 5/16" O.D. clear vinyl tubing. I managed to get it around (inserted a piece from both ends) BUT the lid wouldn't close far enough to 'latch' (too thick/firm) so back to Home Depot, bought some 1/4" O.D. clear tubing (took the 5/16" out) and got it completely around inside the trunk seal (lube it up good with Dawn dishwashing soap). The trunk lid latches firmly with 'nothing' on the trunk rack and I know will be excellent with some weight on the rack. GREAT IDEA for $3+!
I got this item sept. of 2011. Looked nice then, I clear coated it to help add to it's life and it started showing rust about a year plus ago, now it's to the point I'm going to have to have it re-chromed or buy another. (My Goldwing is kept inside) Chrome on this I guess just won't hold up to daily weather/riding. Never even strapped or carried anything to it or one it. Not happy :{(
Easy install. I am a long distance rider so this is a must. I added a Camel pack tube with mouth piece then covered it in a neoprene sleeve for temperature protection.
These Turndown Extensions look great and will help keep exhaust off your trailer and perhaps out of the face of the rider behind you!
Easy install. Mounted right under the ignition switch on my 12.
Easy Install. Even my wife feels the difference.
Easy Install. Eliminates the blind spots. If you want to cover more area with the mirror don't mount it flush as shown in the pic. Turn the mirror out a little.

I really wanted the Kuryakyn ISO Chrome Covers for my heated grips but after reading so many negative reviews (poor heat transfer, poor fit & flaking chrome) I decided to try these foam covers instead. The Comfort Grip Covers have been on my bike now for about 9 months (12,000 miles) and so far they have held up very well. They stay in place (don't twist) and the additional thickness does help prevent hand cramps. Most importantly, they seem to transfer warmth nicely with my "Heat Demon" Grip heaters. So far I am very pleased and you sure can't beat the price! |
Easy install. My wife's favorite edition to our bike
Easy install, I liked the first one so much I added a second.
Easy install. Breaks up a lot of color.
Easy install. Had to replace my older 5 with these 7's due to a mishap on the left side. More visible to my eye than other drivers.
