| After a few years, the sticky attaching tape gets week and it wants to come off. I'm pretty sure I can keep repairing that though. With gloves on, it makes some of the buttons harder to press. I love the way they look, but I may just give up on them all together. |
| I installed these on my 2012 'Wing for added comfort on those HOT Florida days stuck in commuter traffic. These relieved some of the fatigue felt when you have to hold in the clutch lever for prolonged periods of time. You ALWAYS want to keep it in gear in case you need to bug out due to some idiot behind you not paying attention to your brake lights..... |

Follow-up to my previous review. Still love it but wanted to pass on what has worked best for me. I still ride with both the HP-11 and the base all the way down most of the time around town. I'm looking WAY over everything, almost like not having a shield at all. But for longer rides at speeds above 60 mph I have found this to be perfect: Base up 2-3 inches. Rake set at 18 degrees from vertical using a bubble level. Shield about 2 inches below eye level. Somehow the venturi effect of the base being a little higher really helps calm the airflow. In "clean" air there is no buffeting at all. In traffic with "dirty" air you get gusts but still almost never any buffeting. Anyway, I have found big differences in the riding experience with small changes in the rake and base/shield heights. So don't give up if it doesn't feel perfect right away. By the way, I really like the way the rake/shield combo looks when it's all the way down, very high tech. All the way up it looks a little clunky, but who cares if it works this well. |

I ride a 02 GL with a Hannigan sidecar this puts a lot of additional weight on the bike.I have the easy steer triple tree with a complete fork rebuild. My ride was so stiff, I hated to even come close to a manhole cover. The jar was very shocking. (I'm 70, the older you get the more intense is the shock). I decided to try the Anti-Dive Fork Shim. It took about 10-15 mins. to install. Then I went looking for the Manhole covers and anything else that would go "Thud". After crossing the 1st cover, I thought I had missed it. There was no "Thud". The forks absorbed the shock. I thought maybe I had grown use to the thud, so I was ever so vigilant for the next cover. I aimed straight for it, and waited for the dreaded "Thud", again the front end did as it should and absorbed the shock. Wow, I thought, this is the way a big bike should ride, smooth and absorbing the highway and making a very pleasant ride. I have several friends with GL trikes and they all complain of the dreaded manhole covers and anything else that causes that "stiff bone jarring jolt". After I told them about my experience, they ordered theirs. I highly recommend to the altered bike riders, Trikes. |

I installed this shelf onto a windbender windshield so that I had more room for new farkles and to get my gps and phone off of the handlebars. It was fairly easy to install. I thought about buying the mini because I thought I wouldn't need all the room the full size unit offers. Glad I got the full size unit. I have one gps, a radar detector, a phone, usb charger and sena Bluetooth transmitter mounted on the shelf. Bounces a little on rough roads but not enough to be a concern. The best part is my gps is in my line of sight, no more looking down on the handle bars to see it. |

I had this the monotube fork cartridge kit and the rear spring installed by the dealer. The bike, now with +100,000 miles, rides better than I remember it riding when new. Would definitely recommend these products. |

The rear preload is set at 5 instead of maxed out as it was with the old OEM spring. No more back jarring jolts when hitting a pot hole. The bike sits higher now also. I have a Russell saddle and now I'm on my tippy toes at stoplights. I can also lean into the corners without scraping the floor boards. Would definitely recommend these products. |
| I replaced my Kuryakn full floor boards and heel shifter with these ... I'm 6'4" ... and the lower 3/4" mount made a real comfort difference for me ... you can also tilt them downward as desired (my preference - takes some strain off ankles/knees... also closer to the bike by about an inch and so an added benefit of less dragging... they are not as aesthetic as the full boards ... but comfort trumps looks... will not go back! |
| I had the same concerns with the increased torque put on the receiver after purchasing this hitch late 2011. I really like how the receiver hardware attaches to the bike completely hidden. All seemed well with the hitch until I went to the New England area last summer riding two up with my and the wife's supplies for a week. Granted the trailer was loaded but I did try to put the heavier items in the back to reduce tongue weight; however due to the toll the harsh New England winters some of the roads were in terrible shape. (We took scenic backroads and not the superslab) Upon returning home. I noticed the steel plates that good the receiver were bent thus putting the ball about 3" lower than original height. I took the receiver off and be t it back as best I could but I am still concerned with the issue that bent it in the first place, the extended tongue of the insert. Even though I love how this hitch mounts to the bike due to the receiver bending I would not purchase this hitch again until it is truly made for a Gen II 1800. Yes, I need to call Wingstuff and discuss my concerns with them; so far they have had great customer service. |
| Very nice piece. So nice, I ride with my passenger boards down so they are not covered up. Easy install, just three screws on each side. Very please with this purchase. |

I've been through three of these, and all of them have failed after one year of use. The common failure mode is the display either goes blank or becomes unreadable. On the second and third units I used the protective cover, but that had no effect. One of three units had poor pressure reading accuracy. The readings drifted, readings were referenced against a very precise pressure gauge. The product has the right idea, and very useful when it works. The fact is the unit is designed poorly and appears to have low quality display and electronics. In the end I gave up and just resigned myself to manually checking pressures. |
