I have a 2015 and to put it on this dolly was impossible by myself. The center stand sits too high; making it extremely difficult to lift on the dolly. I tried to do mini ramps as others indicated but I really didn't want to go through the hassle of walking my F6B on a ramp to make this work.
Ordered this and received about a year ago. Went on in a jiffy and worked great, until, this past Saturday. They put the set screw on the wrong side as anyone that does twisties will tell you, you are going to scrape the boards and whatnot. With the larger stand pad it is the first this to touch and wears out the set screw then the dammed thing falls off. Luckily for me, it fell off in front of my garage after a full day of riding in the mountains. I`m going to try to drill into it to add another set screw from the other side. If it had been manufactures that way in the first place I and likely several others would have this issue. Poor planning on Rivco`s part.
Since my first review of this seat cover and my stated dissatisfaction with customer service I've been contacted twice by customer service, voluntarily issued a full refund and informed that they've found an issue with their "Contact us" email link. So I now rescind my previous review of Wingstuff customer service and can say they've been very forthcoming and straight with me.
Do not buy this. The gold wing charging system is not set up for lithium. This battery caught fire and melted inside the battery box. Fortunately nothing was ruined but caused a big delay on the road.
I just bought the front and back tires E-4's for my 2013, with just over 300 miles on them so far I like them well worth the price I paid installed
When my seat cover arrived it was missing one of the hooks. Not that big of a deal because I can replace it but I contacted Wingstuff about this issue and have not received a single response from them. Poor customer service in my opinion. Glad it was a relatively cheap item.

C'mon BDSL, get on it and release a Win10 version. I suppose I can drag out and dust off my old laptop that still runs Windows 7 so I can use this software. My mistake, been using Win10 for more than a year, assumed this software supported Win10. Otherwise, nice software to use. |
This was the very first accessory I bought for my first Gen II. I love having the center mounted cup holder and my coffee mug fits perfectly. A 16/20oz bottle fits very well also. However, you lose the ability to lock things in the glovebox with this unit. Both sides of the cubby are covered by rubber inserts that are made to pop out. I am glad I kept the original cover and plan on switching back once I add a handlebar mounted cup holder. The insert makes the side pockets so small my kick stand pad had to be shortened to fit. It works great as a cup holder but not so much if you plan on storing things in the glovebox.
Installed this on my '07 and my wife and I went to Starbucks to get matching tumblers the next day. Other reviewers talked about the bottom rubbing the saddlebag and with a 16oz bottle it would drag a little but we used the same tumblers all the time and never had any issues. I wish it mounted just a bit higher and I would have given 5 stars. It is so much easier for her to have her own drink and now I don't have to hand it to her over my shoulder. Love it!
I installed this in about 5 minutes on my '07 and loved it instantly. I didn't opt for the swivel and hard mounted it. We went to Starbucks and bought matching tumblers that fit perfectly. I cannot speak for the longevity because about 2 months after I purchased it, we met a deer in Kansas on our cross country trip. My drink stayed put though and I really wish I had removed this accessory and kept it for my new ride.
These floorboards get more comments than my other accessories and that is because they look great! I gave them 4 stars because of functionality. The fairing on the GL1800 makes any footpeg placement a challenge, but at 6 feet tall I have to place these too close to me to actually stretch out and not drag them everywhere. I have had more luck with the Ergo II. They do offer more versatility over pegs because you can move your feet into several positions and that is great for long rides.
I installed this rest on my '07 and absolutely loved it! It was scary cutting the seat, but I used a bread knife and the width was perfect. This design fit very comfortably between my shoulder blades and I didn't realize how important that was until I bought my '12 with the Utopia style rest on it. (the square rests put a strain on my shoulders after about an hour and this one did not) I love my Gen II but really wish I had this backrest! In fact, I will probably change them out once I get the other accessories in order.
