| I bought this for my 2012 with the 3rd brake light spoiler. This rack fits perfectly without touching or rubbing the spoiler or the back of the back rest cushion. Take your time drilling the mounting holes. Having another pair of hands wouldn't hurt to hold the rack in place while you mark the mounting holes on the trunk. Make sure you have proper clearance on all sides. Use frog tape on your painted surface while fitting the rack to avoid scratches on your paint. I applied a good coat of wax on the rack BEFORE i mounted it taken care to get all of the hard to reach places coated well. I've put a couple of thousand miles with the rack with no signs of rust or pitting. For those of you complaining of rust on your chrome, I have a product for you; ACF-50. Look it up, order it and say goodbye to rust and corrosion. |
| A little disappointed with them. Got them installed okay, but the pieces do not line up very well where the back piece meets the side pieces. Also, the finish along the edges is not too good. |
| Only giving these four stars because the finish along the edges is only so so, and the fitment of the right side piece was not good. It was about a sixteenth of an inch too long for the holes. Really had to force it into place. But once on, it looks good. |
| I've added a number of chrome pieces to the bike, but this is by far the best. This REALLY makes the area in front of the saddlebags pop! Good quality too. |

| Haven't got to use it yet. Got it yesterday went to mount it and the only set of screws that were metric was the middle set which is just a bit too long. Wrote wingstuff and they don't carry just the screws but offered a credit. So will have to look around for some chrome shims so the screws that are metric won't bottom out. Oh and the ring doesn't sit level with the bike upright which will bug the heck out of me. Not a good start for my first order. |
| Have had these on my bike cpl years now. These are great until the little plastic lock washers wear out. Then you have to tighten bolts further to keep arm rest from swinging out from wind. I actually snapped bolt from constant tightenting. Cost me nearly $12 for replacement bolt from SC. I'll try something different next time. |
| I have had this belly pan on over a year now and it has done it's job. It has several dings and small dents, one exactly where the oil filter is. So it may have save the the day more than once, it's too hard to really know. I feel better knowing it is there. |
| Bought a pair of these for the new armrests. Installed them for a Labor Day weekend trip. In mid September I rode to the CA District rally. I went to show off the pouches, and only one was there. On the way home, the other blew off the bike. Less than 2K of riding. I contacted Wingstuff and they contacted the manufacturer. No support from the manufacturer without the entire faulty part being returned. Wingstuff is standing behind the product they sold. KUDOS for Wingstuff. Now to find a decent replacement s they were a great add to the bike for my wife. |
