I used these and they really helped get the Kuryakin rack above my trunk spoiler. Note: the surface they get mounted onto is probably been waxed in the last year and - until they get the screws tightened - they slip off to the garage floor and dent. In short, mount the rack over some carpet and save the swearing for cars that cut you off. |

Looks and works great. Yes, I over-tightened a nut and got a star fracture under the trunk paint. Note: this weighs so much that my remote release no longer opens the trunk unless I am lifting up at the same time. I used the risers to get it over the top of my spoiler. |

I love how these look. Plug and play - they were truly easy to install. However, they do not have an adjustment for the cowling position and one of them sits just a tad bit out of alignment. My wife saw me coming home one night and commented on how much they add to awareness of a bike on the road ahead. She saw me from a mile away. |

Three comments: 1) Wish it was flat black like the rest of the handlebars. 2) Guaranteed to remove your internal organs in an accident . 3) Do not use with carbonated drinks as they exploded all over at the first bump . |
| I have the hand grip that is pictured on this website. This item has a rubber strap that is difficult to stretch around the hand grip. There is flimsy "peg" that the strap gets secure to. "secure" is the incorrect word for this attachment. The item has fallen off twice in the past 3 days fo use. Luckily I was in a parking lot when it fell off. I do NOT recommend this product. |
| After a couple of years of use, the chrome flakes off and the rust begins. Kuryakyn only warranties for 1 year. Have had same problem with other of their components. Bike has rarely seen rain, so am disappointed. |
| Sorry! My original review didn't reflect the star rating I intended. |
| The 3.5 mm plug end sheath split and came apart when I unplugged the headphone jack the first time I used the adapter. Piece of crap. |
| Look great. Work great. However.... after gently dropping my bike(first time in 25+ years) I found out these pegs are made too good.Ripped the right valve cover off my bike and dumped the engine oil in about two seconds. Middle of Nebraska and 4 and 1/2 hours from home. Finally got bike to hometown dealer the next day. $$$$. My mistake but possibly aluminum screws may have prevented such a catastrophe. I still rate them high because I did really like them but cannot see myself ever using them again. Please take this with a grain of salt. |
| 12,000 miles on these tires and the front still looks amazing. I changed the back tire today. I really think it has a few thousand more miles in it, but i ride long distance and i get a little paranoid. Im not sure what they changed but its a vast improvement over the E3. |
| I purchased this item after changing my rear tire and injured myself trying to put my 1800 on center stand , I ordered mine from eBay when it arrived I installed it . My OME came off very easy and this one would have went on as easy except It took some time lining up the screws when putting the new one on. Easy install on 1800 just two screws , they go on a lot easier once you line up the spacers correct so the screws will line up with holes |
| just received cover yesterday. fits very nicely on gen 1 wing. a bit of reinforcement added to where the cover rests on the radio and CB antennas would make it even better. but for the price, make a couple tip protectors and its all good. what a great cover for the money. |
