| First I wish this exact kit was offered in black, The lid on the cup is not really a tight fit. The holder is nice quality. The cup is lacking. I ended up buying a Thermos cup from Target and it fits great and the lid is a twist on fit, not a push on. The chrome to me looks out of place with black handlebars and controls. |
| Very nice light set. The added daytime brightness is a nice safety upgrade. I watched the videos for installation and it went well. Take your time. The flasher install takes the longest. Tiny hands and patience help. If you don't use the flasher provided you will get the hyper-flash. Well worth the time when done. Yes you do lose the blink feature with the key fob but the rears still flash. Also with the key on ACC the day runners will stay on. Low draw so no big deal. Anything that helps you be seen is great. These look sharp. |
| I had to use a tap on all the threaded holes and chase the bolts with a die because nothing would thread in the way it was.Should be better quality control than that.I am ASE master certified so not my first rodeo. |

I bought this lid organizer for my new '17 Gold Wing. My other '04 Wing has Wingstuff original fixed lid organizer which is working really great and I love it. However, I really needed one that easy to remove. I have been wearing Nolan helmet over 10 years and the helmet needs a helmet lock extension. One day I lost the helmet extension, I was going to put my helmet inside the trunk but not fit at all because the organizer reduced the trunk size. I didn't want to remove screws, so I had to carry my helmet everywhere that day. I always carry extra helmet lock extensions now, but instant removable organizer will help when I have to leave my helmet inside the trunk. |
| I've had this cup holder for years. There is another review for this product where the cup holder will suddenly rotate. Mine does the same thing, I take a shade tree mechanics all size socket set and tighten it up until the next time it loosens up. Of course when I think of putting a little lock-tight on it, I am not home. |
| I love the way Wingstuff includes installation procedures their products. Having the installation instructions helps me decide if I want to take on the task of installing the item or having the dealer install before I make the purchase. |
| No instructions came with it, just a note saying it is new and instructions are not ready yet, plus a link for viewing an online YouTube installation video. Plug and play with a supplied adapter that goes into the harness under the seat. Looks and works great. Already had a brake light modulator and was concerned how the one in the brake section would interact. No issues. Note that only the center portion of the light is a flashing brake light, the sides are running lights. The whole left or right half are the sequential turn signals or emergency flashers. While acting as a directional light, the red lights in that half extinguish. Installed at same time as Sentinel LED passenger armrest lights for an outstanding sequential effect from both units all timed at the same starting point. All rear facing lights are LEDs on my Gold Wing, but incandescent lamps shouldn't be any problem. |
| These look great in black and work well. Arrived with plastic front corner broken (reason for the 4 rating), but after crazy glue and double-sided automotive tape installed them as is. Front corner may be a place for snagging on passenger clothing. Easy install. Instructions more than sufficient with multiple options. Not plug and play. Wire taps easy to hook into bike wiring. Installed with sequential LED spoiler light with dynamic brake and running lights. Tapped into the plug & play adapter that came with it. |
| 13401 miles. Viewing them now tells me to replace. I have centramatics installed for 3 sets now. No cupping or howling in corners but very noticeable wear is concentrated on centers more than sides. Looks to be about 1/16 on centers now and sides 1/8 or more. I'm reluctant to run these any more at highway speeds. I remember 8000 mi without centramatics.Dont believe 20,000 mi possible being this is third set. I have a friend that used Dunlap elite and encountered belt separation before wear. |

Update to 5/15: Still a great investment. Got backrest in 2013. Easy install, mount and adjust. I’m 6' 4" and getting fat. See my WS gallery. Backrest adjusts to me fine. As an Iron Butt member (go far and fast) I love this backrest. I use it on rides more than 200 miles round trip. Ha, just getting old. ☺ For long trips suggest this backrest, Air Hawk seat pad (no seat heat needed) and Mick-O-Pegs. Yea, a 1000 miles in 24 hours is a very easy!!! Liked your favorite chair. Rust? For chrome to rust there is serious abuse. Have had my seat off many times, (change air filter, center shelter off, electrical additions, etc.) have never seen rust on mounts. On the twist attaching a little light lubricant is advised. |
| These are really well made and they fit great. The heavy duty backing means good protection for the boxes and the thick pile means good protection for your belongings. The price is good too. |
| Did not mean to let 5 stars appear, it is a 1 or 2 star product, in my opinion based on my experience with it, same happened to my buddies cover and he got his the same day I did. |
