| Have had one on each of my three Goldwings and with a brand name like Kuryakyn, you can not go wrong. |
|
Just bought my third one and yes it's for my third wing ! Great to fly our country's flags. Never had a problem with the chrome, while protecting and polishing with never dull. |
| Makes the bike look great. It took 3 hours to install because 4 bolts broke off and I had to remove the mufflers which was easy to remove. Drilled out broken bolts installed helicoil and used new bolts. |

My first set of Elite 4 gave me 14300 miles on the rear with 2/32 left on the tire, minimal cupping. I ride 1 up, about 11K of the miles were with trunk, saddle bags loaded and a bag also in the rear seat - so, maybe an extra 80 pounds of weight. I ride long and hard over hot surfaces throughout the summer at 75- 80 MPH. The front still has about 3/32 of tread left at 12600 miles, but I switched it out with a new one as I am planning on a 3K trip next month. The front does wander a little on the grooved surfaces, but I have gotten used to it. They do not grab as well as the softer competitors because the center of the tire is said to be a harder rubber for mileage, but, when in the twisties, they do hold the corners fairly well. I find I am slowing down more in the rain and on slick surfaces than I have with the Elite 3s. I like them well enough to have bought a second set. |
| Excellent sound easy to install would buy again |
| Agree with Skippy. Cost me a bottom front fender. Looks great, does keep water and crap down but in the end, cracks the fender in multiple places beyond repair. Also learned the hard way. |

I've had this backrest for three years now and it works really well. It has not slipped back on me and the backrest pillow part lowers flat so my wife can step onto my front pegs and swing her leg over the pillow and she sits on her seat. You can loosen the adjusters while your riding and you can adjust the backrest forward or back to the correct and comfortable riding position while riding. It doesn't take much to make it move and makes riding a dream. |
| I did not see anywhere in the ad where the size of the rings was listed or a comment stating these WOULD NOT not fit stock grips. They appear to be quality rings but the description is slim and lacking. These do not fit stock grips. Must have the larger ISO grips, just saying. I needed spacers for stock grips. Not worth sending back since shipping would cost more than the product. |
| I can't say I am very impressed. I have roughly 5000 miles on a new pair of Elite 4's. The front is great, shows no wear. The rear is chopping up pretty bad. You can see 3 distinct wear patterns. center and both sides. I run 44 psi consistently. The bike has been to Yellowstone and to Niagara, roughly 5000 miles. The rear is chopped up worse than the one I just took off of it. Not sure what is going on. It look as if I will need a new one in about 3000 more miles. I was under the impression that I would get about 15-18k miles out of these. |

For 40 bucks I'm very disappointed. I've had them no longer than 2 months- 4000 miles.. Saturday when putting on the right hand glove it ripped along the whole seam on the palm side where the mesh and other fabric are mended together. the gloves are a bit warm for summer riding in texas. I tolerate them because of the gold wing logo. On the flip side they would not be cold weather gloves either. No touch screen ability. the 1 star is because it ripped already and now i have to throw them away. 40 bucks down the drain. Aside from that they fit my hands great and handling the controls are not a problem. |
| Does what it is supposed to do, use it on a 2008 Goldwing, I took the bushings off to go back as far as I could, wont go any further than the curve in the bars, I am about 6FT and don't see how some need the back rest to stay forward. that would be uncomfortable to me. I guess for shorter riders they need to be closer to the handle bars. The back rest does take some getting used to, but I did not want a back rest that required to cut my seat to install. This back rest is easily removable also. Co-rider does not mind it. |
| These are the kinds of products I wish for. Easy install and ready to help on long trips by keeping my cellphone charged, especially when I require navigation apps. |
