As Jackman wrote, I had a minor tipover while stopped in the carport and the one mirror housing was quite broken. I too was SHOCKED by Honda’s coloured replacement cost so ordered these and they’re a fine addition and look like they were meant to be chrome in the first place. BE CAREFUL removing and replacing the small screws that hold the mirror mount/bracket to the inner frame. It’s a tunnel just waiting for you to drop one of those screws and the foul language will begin!
Backrest has the silver stripe but it's vinyl and the seat is swad ??? Should be like the seat. Just saying..I would purchase this if they did a better job on matching it up...
Everything I ordered for my Goldwing oil / final drive change arrived on time and well packaged. Good product, easy ordering, and arrived quickly. I will order again in 8000 miles.
I purchased these to help reduce the chips on my trike fenders. So far I guess they are work as they supposed to. I've only had them a couple of weeks so far.
I just bought a 2008 GW specifically to try these handlebars and boy did they deliver. They are every bit as good as advertised. The riding position you get with these bars is great. I'm 6' @ 230 lbs and the stock bars were low and close to my body. The Helibars make a world of difference in riding position and makes handling the bike a dream. As I was waiting for my bars to arrive, I downloaded the installation instructions and found a couple of videos on You Tube and followed along, so by the time my bars arrived I was familiar with the process. As others have said, just take your time. Highly, highly recommend!
The tires arrived on time and it good shape. Always a pleasure doing business with Wingstuff. The only 2 options we have for the gen 6 wing is Dunlop or Bridgestone. The Dunlops only last me 4k miles the Bridgestones last almost 8k. So thats about six cents per mile driven. Expensive for the amount of miles but what can you do..
first of all u don't have to take ANYTHING apart to install these. u will need a bit to fit the base screws, and a ratchet wrench. one main issue with these is that they come loose, did on me to. butt before u install them drill out the set screw holes[2] of them on each arm rest. drill them out for 1/4-20 set screw. then retap them. i did this on mine after they came loose the first time. tighten them really tight and put blue loctite on all the bolts, my allen wrench was bending from the torque. p.s. in my opinion the set screw they used is totally inadequate.
Wingstuff asks for a review so here goes.......I screwed on the oil filter without incident. The crush washers seem to have been properly crushed and seal the drain bolts. The O ring fit the transmission filter housing snugly. All parts installed and functioned as they should. What else is there to say? Can I have my 200 bonus points now?

"200 points well deserved :)"
Wingstuff asks for a review.....so.....the oil went into my bike and the bike didn't sieze, overheat, leak or any other adverse occurrences, so I would conclude that the oil has done its job satisfactorily. Can I get my 200 bonus points now? :-)
