As far as I am concerned it’s a great idea that needs to be tweaked a little bit. With a taller cup it swings just a little bit too much and then it spills. If you use a small cup or a can of pop then it’s okay.
Works perfectly for my Goldwing. Easy installation, however, the instructions tell you to put the bike up on the center stand and that was not necessary.
Took about an hour-and-a-half to install. The directions that came wit the rack were pretty good. I followed them closely and had no problems. One change I would suggest, though, is...the directions say to keep the rack forward on the trunk as much as possible, but by doing so, it makes it very, very difficult to wash / wax underneath the rack under the section in the middle that raises up. If I could do it over again, I would keep it back a little further, giving me a little more clearance there.
Great to have extras on hand. Take a small piece of wire like a bread tie and put it through the hole and the grommet so if they do fall out you wont loose it.
Great product! I bought the red and love the way you can direct air flow in or stop it. Just take your time and read the directions carefully!
If you are installing this on a 2018 or newer Goldwing and you have a 4 pin plug on the trailer, you have to have the 5-4 converter. It's all plug and play but still is needed.
The pegs were an easy install and the adjust-ability is pretty simple. I would like a little bigger platform and a way to lock the pegs open so my feet can lay on top but other than that I am very pleased and would reccomend.
Hitch was received very quickly and the directions along with the video made it very easy to install. Took some time because there is a lot of the bike that needs to come off, but I am very pleased
I’m old school, and I wanted Barrel Grips. Evidently no one makes them anymore, so I bought these. Info says “direct fit”.WRONG! Instructions included with grips say, must remove/discard handle bar ends.......these are weights used to absorb vibration.......a necessary part if you ride seriously! I drilled-out the ends of the new grips so I could retain my bar ends. Personally, I think “metal” grips look and feel like c~•>. Thick rubber is the only way to go.
Easy change-out and nice protection. Purchased tinted 20 inch and it totally serves the purpose. I am 6 ft tall and this works perfect to eliminate wind noise. would definitely recommend.Tint is not to dark and is easy to see through. Have not taken a night ride yet to check night time vision.
The F4 plus 4 Custom Tinted Windshield that I just installed on my 2015 Goldwing GL1800 is by far the BEST windshield I've ever owned! The clarity from looking through the windshield is not only VERY clear during the day, but at night it amazingly keeps the glare down from approaching vehicle lights and the street lights. I've also noticed that there is NO more wind buffering like I use to have from my OEM windshield. My wife purchased this windshield for me as a birthday gift and I can't thank her enough. On a scale of 1 to 10, I rate this windshield a 12!!!!! ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!!!
I installed Kuryakyn luggage rack (SKU: 7151) on my new motorcycle and ordered this rack bag, "...fits all Kuryakyn racks..." Well, it does fit. But... The rack is tapered from front to rear. So the hooks and bungee arrangement want to pull the bag toward the back. There are Velcro tabs for the front and rear. I've not loaded the bag and run highway speeds. The test was supposed to be a planned trip at the end of August. Maybe I will do a pre-trip test run and update this review.
