This was an easy install fit wright on and it works no more vibs in the front end .
These were very easy to install and look great. They accent the bike along with the Omni chrome clutch and brake levers.
Easily installed and they function like the stock ones and look great!
My first cushion arrived without a strap. I used it that way, and of course I lost it. Upon ordering a replacement cushion I also ordered a strap and wouldn’t you know, this cushion came WITH a strap. Go figure. Now I have an extra strap.
I only weight 195 lbs and yet on a long ride I would find the Wing seat pretty thin. I put the gel cushion on the seat, and luved it. With only a small amount of use and being to lazy (stupid) to secure it, lost it on a ride. Ist thing getting home, I ordered another. This one is secured with the strap + velcro to keep it from shifting. Never leave home without it.
I bought the wing used with a 2 pc pan on it, and in the course of 50,000 miles had beat it up completely. I ordered a new one and this one is about as thin and cheap as one can be made. Not nearly the strength and thickness of the 1st.
I've been riding Gold Wing's since my college days when I bought a brand new 1976 GL1000. Over the years I've had many Kuryakyn products and have been pleased with all of them. I've waited to buy a trailer hitch for my new bike until Kuryakyn developed one. I've not pulled a trailer yet but the product appears to be of the quality you would expect from Kuryakyn. The instructions were easy to follow but I had 2 issues with the installation. First, how hard would it be for Kuryakyn to stamp the parts (for example, left side front, this side up). That would be nice. The hardest part of the whole install was removing the saddlebag grommets. The instructions are written as if it is as easy as removing a screw. It is not. They are very hard to remove and a little guidance would have been helpful. Other than that, I'm very pleased with the product and look forward to using it.
Make sure you take time to shape it. And, if you're gonna bedazzle the right side, you gotta add one to the left side too. These, along with the chrome lower air vents, look great together.
If you're going to install grills for both the front and rear speakers, I suggest you get matching pairs. Make sure you're careful, because there are different styles.
Definitely spend some time shaping them to maximize the success of them sticking. And, I recommend installing both the trunk and bag accents at the same time to even-out the look.
