This is a needed part if you want to add the trunk light. Easy to install, just takes a lot of time for something so small.
Easy install in the saddle bag. Works perfect for USB flash card music.
This is very easy to install and works great for protecting the bike from boot scuff marks. Useful when you have the riders backrest.
Rode my new to me 2005 GL1800 for a year with no backrest, tried a friends felt amazing, have one on mine now didn't take long to install. Little to much snow to try it yet ... but she's ready to go!
First they are metal 👍. Second I don’t have to fiddle with that blood wrench 👍. Lastly it takes so much less time to adjust my pressure so I’m more on top of it. 👍
Noticeable difference in tire noise and vibration. I also put on Dunlop E4's same time and they are quiet, smooth and buzz free. I think they really help. No cupping at 5000 miles, but I'm not sure if that is these, the tires, or my tire pressure check before EVERY ride each week. I swear they have a great dampening effect.
I waited to give these any review till 5000 miles. I love them. I have a ton of tread left front and rear and I'm not having the cupping issues and Noise I had with my previous 2 sets Bridgestones. I realize this is a heavy bike and me and my wife are not thin so...Its hard on tires. But I love these in the rain and Florida heat. I don't experience any tar snake or groove following issues some have mentioned. I'd buy these again in a heart beat. Best tires I've ever had on this bike. Also it should be mentioned, when I put these on I put on Centramatics balancers and new 90 degree metal valve stems. So she is smooth and the tires are always within a pound or so. I check them every time I ride.
I wanted to ad my two cents to the reviews about the Progressive Monotube suspension for the 5ht Gen Goldwing. As many of us, I’m on a budget and can’t afford the high price tag of the famous traxxion suspension upgrade. If you don’t have much time to read this review here it is the summary:Is it better than stock? Yes. Is it worth it? Yes. Is it bumpy as others claim? Unfortunately, Yes.I am 5’7” 170 lbs guy that rides 90% solo. I followed the instructions religiously and added the exact amount of the recommend Honda fork Oil. The ride is improved, however the price is to pay is that you will have a bumpier ride, especially at speeds between 10-50 mph. I was following my wife behind the car and she thought I was flashing my high beams. Before I installed this suspension, I tried replacing the fork oil with a 15W, which was an improvement but was not what I wanted. If you hate the harshness of the stock suspension and don’t have the $$$$ to pay for the traxxion upgrade, I think this can be an alternative. However, remember that your ride will be bumpier. Is very weird, is bumpy but is not uncomfortable. It handles great at high speeds (80+mph) and I consider myself to have an aggressive ridding style. To completely enjoy the added benefits of the new upgraded suspension, you also need to make sure than you eliminate any rattling from the trunk. After many different small modifications, my trunk was almost rattle free, but on harsh bumps would still make noises, until I tried adding ¼” clear tubing inside the weather strip of the trunk. Was not easy to do, and I had to do it by halves, half to the right and half to the left. Also adding the soft part of Velcro around the internal border of the lid, so when it closes there is no friction between plastic vs plastic.
Ordered F6B Light tint with vent hole. Got f6B light tint no hole. Sadly, I put it on the bike and then could not figure out what was wrong. then I realized after the bolts are snug. NO VENT! Guess we will see what they say about this...
This seem to be a good stem. I have over 20K miles on them with one tire.
You would think in this day and age of making things smaller this light could easily be 1/4 of the actual depth. Thick as a stick of butter. Due to limited space I will not be installing the light.
Super quick delivery and a great buy for the price! Only negative is the small clips that hold it all together! This is installed in my wife’s helmet so she’s gentle enough plugging and in plugging it! If it was in my helmet I think I would be pulling to hard on the plug!
