I like these, but I wish they were not as skinny as they are. It would be nice if they followed the size of the where they mount. They definitely give the passenger a place to set their arms, but due to the way they are mounted, you have to be careful how much pressure you put on them. For example, you don't want to use them to adjust how you are sitting or use them to help push yourself further back in the seat. They seem like they could break from the mounting location. I still like them and the ability to mount a cup holder, so I would still buy them. Just make sure your passenger knows to be careful and not push down on them to hard.
I will be honest. I almost passed on these, thinking they were too small, wouldn't work, over priced. But so glad I got these and made the easy install. Wife immediately gave very positive feedback first time riding. The are not too long to get in way when getting on/off bike/Trike. She commented they didn't stick to her arm like others in the past due to the heat. Loved the ability to add accessories like cup holder, phone, etc. Highly suggest adding the BA cup holder with these. I take them off when not in use. Plugs are provided to fill the hole for accessory mount. Love the fact I can raise trunk without having to swing arms out of the way like on a previous armrest version on another bike. My wife and I both have been really impressed and pleased with these.
These are really I just wish they were the same width as the armrest on the trunk of my 2023 DCT, still a nice product. Installation was quick and easy.
The installation is pretty easy, just remember to follow each step and not replace the little inside screw that was right in front of the new armrest mount. If you replace that screw, the metal arm won't fit tightly where it is supposed to go.
