Rider Etiquette: The Good Samaritan

Good Samaritan
When I crashed into the ditch on the Tail of the Dragon, I needed help getting my Goldwing back up and onto the pavement. A young man stopped to help my friend and I get it out. I will be forever grateful for his assistance.

Auxiliary Light Brackets for GL1800 & F6B
ITEM CODE: WB1800AUXLM,   SKU: WB1800AUXLM

It wasn’t hard putting these brackets, but it would’ve been easier having a friend help hold the mirror as I was putting the longer screws into the appropriate place. The second one was easier than the first, because I had learned what I needed to do. Overall, these brackets are sturdy, and will allow me to place the type of auxiliary driving lights that I want to have on my Goldwing. be sure to download and print up the instructions. It is very helpful to put a cloth in to the mirror area to make certain you do not lose any screws down into the bike.

Performance Stainless Steel Belly Pan for GL1800
ITEM CODE: WS187416,   SKU: WS187416

05.28.2018
i just installed this on my 2014 GL. It took me about 20 minutes.
Pros: Stainless steel. Having worked with Stainless steel surgical instruments, in my opinion, this should protect better than Aluminum. it wasn't difficult to place on once I looked at what I needed to loosen. Found out when I took the lower front cowl screws off and loosened that, then the sides were able to be pulled out off the screws. The directions do not mention that.
Cons: the front section doesn't fit as neatly as I would like, but it won't come loose during my riding.
4 stars because the directions are not as clear as they could be.
