About:
Purchased my current GW in 2011. The first bike I've owned in over 30 years. I live in New England but travel extensively to states east of the Mississippi in my Toy Hauler and ride the Bike when ever I get a chance. Love the Wing and can rider it 8 hrs a day if given the chance. Longest ride to date was the ride home after picking up the bike in AZ - 3000 Miles back to Boston.

product does not match
I finally got the time to install this and it all went as planned until I went to make the final connection for the Yellow and Brown wires... it turns out these both have a female "butt" connector - and the photo shows the red wire on the two harnesses having a male and female butt connectors that I assume you would separate and connect the yellow and brown leads to... well my red wire is a solid wire - no connectors - so no place to install the blinker signal. so either I got the wrong parts shipped to me or someone forgot to cut the red wire and install the mail butt connector... either way - the product does not work without cutting wires and installing two male but connectors, at least in my case. |

Worked for a few years - then lost one side
I purchased this back in 2011 and it worked for several years but last year ( fall ) I lost the sound out of one side ( right ) speaker. I took my faring apart to get to the speaker, believing that the speaker had failed. determined that the speaker was fine and worked my way back to the Ground Loop Isolation. Took it out of out of the path and sound was then find ( Stereo ) but the wine is back due to the lack of the unit. I give it 4 starts because it does what it says and does it well ... I just wish it worked longer. I will be purchasing a new one for this riding year! |
