Rubber Baby Buggy Bumpers for GL1800

Baby Bumpers
With my corners rubbing I discussed with Honda ( no fix ) or warranty on a new ride. A fellow rider installed these 2 years ago and wall-la chafing stopped. I installed mine only on the rearward side since its the only wear point. I used a silicone base lub for orings and they went in easy. I did have to shave some of the top off to make it easier to shut the lid. I have an even gap all the way around my lid now. |

Frame Cover with inserts
This product is awsome and definately brings out the side. It is real simple to install, directions spot on. I would add to starting the shouldered screws before applying pressure to the upper section since it is 2 sided tape and tighten them just to the point to allow you to adjust the upper section as necessary. I sure like it and to me its worth the money, with foot boards the extra rubber inserts has an added protection of scratching from your heel movement. |

Well obviously I have it for them long trips, haven't used it yet looks like it would be easy, but insure you bring some air cartriges or an air pump to air up the tire if you get a flat. |

This maybe a piece of plastic but if drilled correctly is pretty strong in my opinion, I do not have a luggage rack on the trunk lid so maybe with the extra weight if lifting the lid with a load may make it more susceptable to breakage. When you drill it insure you have the correct angle of your drill bit and be thinking about how the screws need to be flush on the inside of the lid, start of one size smaller than recommended and work yourway larger to get the optimum fit, that is where the strength lies. This makes a bare trunk lid more pronounced with the look, I'm glad I did it. |

Easy install and good instructions and comes with templates which is a must. These should be stock on all Goldwings. The upper half direct outside air to the rider in summer and direct outside air away in the winter. The lowers are just the opposite. |

Is a little on the short side so I am not giving it a 5. Was easy to install once I made sure I centered it to the fender because the mold is flared out a bit so you will have to squeeze the sides in to get the screws started. Recommend getting the longer one. |

It's a sweet looker and really adds to the looks. Do not forget to reuse the two clips off old cowl. Lower screws take a bit of time to align and recommend waxing before installing, helps keep the scratches from hands while tweeking it to fit. |

Fit my HJC flip helmet perfectly, no holes or mods for the speakers. I give it a 4 star because the bass is not really there however what is there is good enough for my taste. |
