Windshield "Optional" Electric Adjusting Kit
ITEM CODE: PG32428

05.19.2014
Tom
I just purchased the Windbender and bought the electric actuator with it. I installed them together on my 2012. I love the windshield and wouldn't be without the electric feature. This brings the Goldwing into the 21st century with respect to being a great performance item. I also purchased the handlebar switch. The 2012 has heated grips. So, I followed the directions and turned the grips on high for a few minutes which then allowed me to fairly easily pull the left handgrip out far enough to install the switch. This option is a bit pricy, but if it lasts like I think it should, I think the convenience of being able to fine tune the windshield on the fly is definitely worth it.

I just installed the HP15 with electric actuator on my 2012 Wing. As the title says, "I love it,". It absolutely does everything they say it should do, Installation took me a while, only because I am slow. The instructions were very good. I purchased the electric option and handlebar switch. Contrary to the instructions, I went ahead and installed the actuator when I installed the shield. However, I did not drill the hole in the top shield until I had ridden the bike and tried several manual positions. I simply wrapped the actuator up so it wouldn't scratch the windshield while I was deciding where that "sweet spot" was. I did risk scratching the shield doing it this way, but I did avoid tearing into the bike twice. Having said that I still managed to acquire a few very minor scratches which can easily be buffed out if they bother me. A protective film on both sides of the shields that could then be removed after installation might enhance the packaging. Again, this is an awesome product and also gives my bike a very sporty look.

HC-PAL 8-Pin Upper Section Right Angle Cord
ITEM CODE: JMHC-PAL,   SKU: JMHC-PAL

Tom
Well, I just ordered another upper cord. I am terribly disappointed in J&M products. These cords are always going bad. I'll be looking to update my entire system, with another Company's product, when I order my next helmet.

Performance Stainless Steel Belly Pan for GL1800
ITEM CODE: WS187416,   SKU: WS187416

I've had this pan on for a year now. I can't tell you how many times I have been thankful that I had it on. It offers great protection and helps keep all that road tar, etc. off the engine and components mounted under the bike. I found it a bit tough to install on my 2012, but it was worth the effort. The front also removes easily when changing the oil. Definitely worth the price/effort!

After having paid double the price for most motorcycle accessories, it was nice to finally pay a fair price for an excellent product. I highly recommend them to everybody. They work well with the heated grips as well.

Chrome Trunk Rack for GL1800 Gold Wing
ITEM CODE: HO08L42MCA100,   SKU: HO08L42MCA100

I installed this rack on my 2012 Goldwing. It looks great!! Be VERY careful when installing to get the holes drilled properly. I am going to install the star washers to protect the trunk lid from potentially cracking. But, once installed, this is a classy looking rack.

I previously owned a 2002 Wing and installed the full set of "Wings." They were great! The 2012 is designed better and I don't feel I need a full set of wings as I had on my 02. But, I have installed the hand wings. My co-rider appreciates them as well.

I own a 2012 and it is a great bike. But, I was experiencing numbness in my right hand after only a few miles. These risers have done the job. No more pain and I can enjoy riding again. Definitely worth the price.

Sharp edges and difficult to install on my 2012. After it was installed the front piece rattled. I took care of that with some rubber tape. If it stays on and doesn't rattle too much then OK. But, I was expecting more...far more!

Bridgestone Tires for GL1800 & F6B
ITEM CODE: PG02700

08.14.2010
Tom
This is a service review. A few days ago I picked up a bolt in my rear tire. It was repaired to get me in. I am now scheduled to ride to Washington State early next week to finally see my daughter that my x ran off with years ago. I am now 61 years old. You can imagine just how special this reunion is to me. I saw this special and immediately ordered a set of Bridgestones late Wednesday night. I explained to these fine folks my situation and the tires showed up yesterday (friday). This is service the way service was meant to be. I know this cost them considerably more to ship them this fast. WINGSTUFF HAS MY BUSINESS FOR LIFE!!

Great product and installation was not to difficult. The provided written instructions were fine, but the accompany photographs were terrible. I like the look of the product and hope that it doesn't break. But, like everything else on a bike; it is worth taking a look periodically to see how things are holding up.
