Very nice part, very easy install, it took maybe 25 minutes, I installed it while I had my morning coffee before going to work. You can't get much easier than that. Wingrider |

Second review, I wish to add a bit of information to my first review of the Progressive Fork Springs. I found if you cut the preload spacers that come with the OEM springs, lighter or smaller riders can enjoy the benefits of the Progressive spring. I trimmed 1 inch off the preload spacers and the springs work fine. The bike doesn't dive when braking, the ride is a bit firmer but you still have a nice comfortable ride with a frontend that will work well when are cornering or if you just a dip or bump in the road as we have plenty of those here in the midwest. If you want a firmer ride just cut less of the preload spacer. To give you a starting point I am 5'8" 175, you can make your adjustments from there. Good Luck, have a safe ride! |

Handling is greatly improved, the ride is not. If you are a smaller rider, myself I am about 175 lbs. The ride is rough, I removed them and put the stock springs back in. I am still looking for a comfortable way to help a weak front suspension. I ride a 2004 Wing and it's a great bike, but the front suspension needs a little help, these springs are not it, unless you are a larger person maybe or want a touring canyon racer! |
