Magnetic Drain Plug & Final Drive w/Washer
ITEM CODE: WSPLUG,   SKU: WSPLUG

My 1980 GL1100 seems to have a ~6mm diameter drain on the final drive; The socket size for the plug (stock) is 10mm.

I just installed the one I bought for the oil last change a couple weeks ago.

I would really like the magnet plug for the final drive, but I don't think boring out and re-tapping the final drive drain hole is a good idea.
Just to make sure of this, I searched and found photos of the GL1100 final drive, and indeed, the drain plug is probably 1/2 the size of this plug. So now I have a spare for the oil.

Quality Brake Rotors
ITEM CODE: PG02485

04.25.2011
I just installed these on Saturday, 4/23/2011.
I discovered that since the center hubs are made of "alloy", they are thicker than the steel hubs of the original. This makes the bolts too short. The bolts end 1/2 way into the nuts; not just through the nuts.
It would be nice to have a recommended part number or source to get bolts to replace the factory bolts which are not long enough. I torqued them and used loctite, but not something I want to rely on. So far, they are working well, and no more squealing and glazed spots.

Battery Tender Plus 12V Smart Battery Charger
ITEM CODE: SOMS017102,   SKU: SOMS017102

06.25.2010
I've had this Battery Tender since 2003.
I've also had my battery since 2003.
I never got mroe than 2 years out of any motorcycle battery, cheap or top of the line, until I started using this!
7 years with the same maintenance free battery; plugged in every night except for maybe half a dozen times. I highly recommend this charger!
