| You have to have it, the cotter pin holes needed to be deburred which is no big deal but I figure you pay this much for about $2 dollars worth of material that lacks a rubber bumper you have to pay extra for it’s the least they could do! |

| Spring is really stout, company should put nylon spacers in the coils to elongate it so it isn’t so hard to install. Also the kit costs so much they should at least add the rubber bumper. I don’t think the stand and kit is worth over $200 but I do like it |

| I ORDERED THE BACKREST (MADE IN CHINA) FIRST AND RETURNED THE PIECE OF JUNK AS SOON AS I COULD, I GOT THE NEW UTOPIA BACK REST AND COULDN'T BE HAPPIER THE WORKMANSHIP AND QUALITY IS DEFINATLY THERE, I HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH INSTALLATION, AND I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS BACKREST WITH NO RESERVATIONS. IT TOOK ABOUT 30 MINUTES TO INSTALL. |

| My wife really likes the new foot boards. I can't believe after spending close to two hundred bucks on these that Kuryakyn is too cheap to put their own spring and clip in them. A job that should have taken 10 minutes took over an hour to get the stock spring and clip in. |
