How Difficult Is It To Ride A Gold Wing?

Experienced Riders ONLY!
Warning! Don't ever be fooled by the looks of a motorcycle appearing Friendly, and Unintimidating! Especially when you are a new rider. Bad idea! That's like walking up to a huge dog because it's wagging it's tail! No matter HOW CONFIDENT YOU ARE.. . Start out on a motorcycle that is far lighter, and less powerful. Any motorcycle can be a huge amount of fun when everything is going in your favor!!! However ... if you find yourself in an emergency situation, a beginner may fare FAR BETTER ON A SMALLER, LESS POWERFUL BIKE, THAN THEY WOULD ON A 900 LB GOLDWING! Please DO NOT LISTEN to folks om this thread egging on a newbie to get on a Goldwing! That's a very very bad Idea, for all intents and purposes! Get a smaller bike. Ride it around for awhile, make it out of a few close calls, that you successfully navigate out of. Then get a Goldwing, and you will have a greater chance of surviving a close call! Take a motorcycle safety course. Of course you can learn to ride on your own I started out at 14 years old on pull string minibikes. Then I graduated to a Honda Z50, then Yamaha GT80, and I just kept climbing up until I was riding 1100 Cc motorcycles, then 1000s with the newer bike. Then I crossed over to a cruiser. Getting a Suzuki Blvd M109, then a Harley Davidson Road Glide Special, now I just bought a 2007 Honda Goldwing. I love the goldwing because of its ability to cruise, and if you want to ride on the edge, a little more aggressive, the Goldwing can certainly hold its own! I'd like to call it a semi cruiser/sportbike with bags!😂😂😂😂 That's because of this bikes ability to lay down in the corners and hug the road. Not sure what the lean angles are. I know you can't get as low as a sport bike. But, she can lay down. It handles exceptionally well. And the braking ability is beyond belief, and better than b any other machine that I've rode! I hope this helps! Ride safe. Ride Smart. Ride alert, so that you will increase your chances of LIVING to ride another day!!! Tiz The Locsmith
