About:
Laura and I are fairly new to the 2-up biker community, but I've been riding off and on since 16. We're in the process of tricking out the new Wing for some serious touring, but are just as happy putting around Socal and doing all the local breakfast and lunch joints - hopefully with some of you.

Here's the deal with these things. If you have the Kury brake pedal, you're going to need these replacement pads at some point. Kury doesn't glue them in very well in the mass production process, but at least they have the foresight to offer readily available replacements. I lost the outer rubber and bought a set. When I replaced the missing one, I dug out the others and re-glued with Super Glue Gel instead of the glue Kury provides in the kit. So, you either re-glue them now, or replace them later. No biggie. It's an easy job. Giving 4 stars just because they're needed in the first place. |

Just put these on and haven't ridden with them much other than an initial test ride. However, I could tell immediately that there was far less turbulent side air on me than there was with just the Baker Hand Wings on the mirrors. I also think they're the least offensive looking deflectors and actually have decent looking lines. I'm not into big ol' honkin' deflectors no matter how good they work, so I don't plan on any lowers especially since as they are, these will also let me use my Mick O' Pegs without getting in the way of my legs. My only missive is that they don't quite fit up and form around the mirrors and fairing as closely as I'd like for a more finished look, nor does the vent wing have much adjustibility or effect. These are basically for long rides with the wife. They're easy to install and remove, a plus. |

One of my first mods. Looks awesome, like it belongs there. Extra lighting is terrific. Can't speak as to install, I had a pro at Wingstuff do it. Highly recommended item! |

I think these were the second item I added to my Wing, and now I wouldn't ride it without them. Too far of a reach for me with the stock setup. I got the wide version, to keep my wrists straighter and uncocked. The ride is so much more comfortable now. No knots in my shoulders, and I can lean back into the Utopia backrest. I highly recommend! |

I like it, works fine. The only thing that worries me is losing my grip on the container with a gloved hand or being clumsy and dropping it, which wouldn't be as possible if the cup had a handle. But, it rides steady and tight, holds hot and cold, and the hardware can be removed easily and stowed while parked. I thought it was the cleanest looking of all the models Wingstuff had in stock when I wanted one. |

Bottom line, this hitch is a great buy compared to others, but I admit I know nothing about the quality / engineering as compared to, say, Bushtec, but its Staff Pick status helped me out on that. My rating has nothing to do with installation, as I wimped out and had Neil at Wingstuff do it for me. Sounds like I made the right decision...bought the hitch specifically to use with the Pakit Rak system, model 18-2 configured for the Add On hitch. Can't wait to try out this setup! |
