NOT GOOD
| I tookmine to a shop to have it installed. Short version... Out of the box failure. I thought the shop may have been at fault. They said they've had trouble with some modulators. I took a couple hours to check everything myself. Found no problems. I've lost the installation money and my time. In the end no functioning modulator. I've use Signal Dynamics in the past. They have been redesign mode since covid. I can't get the sensor out as my knowledge level is short. I have to order a new past to the tune of $186+++ Wait for the part,install and hope its not the sensor. Otherwise it gets more difficult. WingStuff and Kisan are warrentying the part but the money to the shop wasa was...$130 per hour. I know this invention has saved my life. I live in Tn which kills almost 2000 bikers a year. Love these modulators
| I've used peace.on modulators for the past 25 -30 years and they've always work great. Unfortunately this one was a bit iffy trying to get the slave side working. But after a couple of calls out to Kisan, got it working correctly. I found that the slave plug did not go into the Pathfinder LEDs plug very easily in fact it was extremely tight. Initially could not get the slave side light to even eliminate the LED without the sink wire even. After opening up the female terminals on the slave plug slightly was able to connect up a bit easier and besides removing everything Andre installing and programming, all seems to be working fine now. Like I said I've had these in numerous bikes over the last number of years and I've always worked extremely well and are still working , one is over 25 years old. |

Fragile Wire
| I installed this and love it BUT the sync wire is sooooooo fragile and short. It didn’t take anything for the wire to break so now it’s taped. It seems that for the cost if the unit, they could spend another couple of pennies and get a thicker/longer wire. Be VERY careful of that wire going from one side to the other or it will break. |

Fragile connectors
| When I was installing, the small connector that plugs into the slave modulator came off the wire. I had to call Kiran tech support and wait for a call back. Now my bike is sitting in the garage partly disassembled waiting for a new wire connector to be delivered. Very fragile connector. I had a pathblazer on my previous GL1500 with no problems, but now I'm starting to have second thoughts about how this one will hold up with the thin wire having to go under the fairing in front of the forks to connect the two modulators |
