Lovely addition to my orange 2007 wing! works with the spoiler added on. Looks great. Just like the picture of the orange bike pictured here. I wasn't brave enough to install this one myself. Drilling in my lid wasn't even an option. I let the shop do it. If you're brave enough I'm sure it's simple enough. |

This rack is strong enough to carry any load and looks very nice. I installed it over my spoiler brake light assy without using the luggage rack risers which are sold separately. |

Great looking, but a real trick to drill the holes right. Watch the agles. Also the tapped have to be cleaned first, they are full of chrome plating. I suggest not drilling through the false lid-shorten the screws & drill through the lid only. Looks great! |

The nicest looking one out there! Solid metal construction (not thin-walled tube steel). Rubber patch is a nice touch too. Only had it a couple of months but am very satisfied so far. Doubles as a trunk handle. Very solid. Tends to be a fingerprint magnet though. Wish I had gotten the riser kit too. If you add it later I hear you have to re-drill 2 of the holes because the spacing is spread out some. Bummer. The Kury matching trunk rack bag is a must with this item. Mine was dealer installed. |

Great looking rack!! Take your time marking the holes that have to be drilled, not much room for error. |

Fantastic looking rack, much better lookng then the round bar racks. Make sure you use the star washers, my dealer didn't when they installed it and they cracked the truck, inside. Difficult to clean under and around but still the the best looking rack around. |

I like the look. Dont put it on untill you put the Spoiler on then it will line up right. and get the riser kit with it. Very easy to install I used alot of tape just so I did not scratch the trunk or spoiler. |

I just received it, not installed yet but I think I will like it. I am a little bit nervous to drill holes in the trunk. More to follow. |

This is a good, strong, functional and great looking rack. I use the Kuryakyn luggage bag designed for this rack and they are a great combo. I agree with the other folks on this site: Assuring the exact hole placement is critical for this install. Not that hard, but check and re-check before drilling. A thought (not claiming to be exactly right on this one): This device is clearly designed for a greater than five lb load limit. I suspect there is more legal stuff that drive such a limit. Now my Harley is another matter ... The "tour pack" has fallen off twice when the vibration eventually cracked the support frame tubes, even though the trunk held only a quart of oil, a security chain/lock and a rag. As The Motor Company likes to say - it is about the "adventure." Perhaps for some folks. I have taken to chroming my H-D parts so I can find them when the fall off. The tour pack? Easy to find - it is on the end of the wiring that is pulling the darn thing behind the bike across I-40. Ride Safe, Ron "Hammer" Young "Until they are home ... " JPAC |
