Pleasant surprise
| The Shinko's have actually been great. I've got 14k miles out of the front and 16k on the rear...Which is opposite of what normally happens. They performed well in the wet, dry, pretty much everywhere. Are the premium brands worth $100 more a set? I'm starting to think not. |

Developed multiple cracks in tread under 5,000 miles
| Purchased from another on line retailer Aug 2020. Installed between Halloween and Thanksgiving and has around 4000-5000 miles on it now.... The tread as developed several cracks where it meets the sidewall that is allowing air to escape.... Had I been on a long trip I'm betting it would have separated from the sidewall completely. Drip grip is great.... Wet grip was very sketchy. 2/10 would recommend. |

| I was a little skeptical at first ,but after i put them on my2018 goldwing I could not believe how well they handled. They might not run as long as some others, but they are a great tire for the money. |

On the Wing when I bought it...
| When I Bought my 2005 Wing the dealer I bought it from had put a brand new set of Shinko 890 tires on it. I thought ok... if I get 5k out of them I will put a "Good" set of tires on. It has been 10k and it is time for a new set. I don't think 10k is bad for tires on a Wing from what I have read so I think I am going to give them another shot. I am in SoCal and ride daily. |
