This windshield is much thicker than the original. Once installed there is no adjustment possible, the shield binds on the rubber once the screws are tightened. What's the point of having an adjustable Goldwing windshield, if you can't adjust it?? |

Very good product for the money except when I turn all the way right the radio mute/ tuning button hits the windshield. But, can't complain, 1/4 of the price of some on the market. You can buy a new one every 5 years and still be cheaper! |

I've had this windshield on for several years now and will order again. The quality is excellent. I got the tinted version with vent. The only things I've experienced is the vent handle broke on me and is now always in an open position, and a recently purchased cb touches the windshield when handlebar is fully turned, probably due to the wider width. All-in-all its still a good value. |

A lot like the others I was a little hesitant with the purchase but I have to say well worth it! Installation was easy as I already had the old one off and waiting the the FEDX driver, within minutes installed and I was off. If you need a replacement this is the place to order. It seemed thicker than the original very happy and should I ever need another one I know where to go. |

Ok, I'm impressed. I too, thought I was buying just a cheap windshield. I bought it because of all the positive reviews and I'm glad I did. Installed on my 1999 Wing. It took me about 30 minutes to install, and it was a breeze. Went for a 90 mile ride, very happy with it. It sets tall and wide enough to block the wind. Wife is happy with it as well. |

I ended up thinking I was just saving money and getting the "cheap" one. It came in today, I installed the vent sitting at my desk and couldn't wait to leave work to install it. Installed on teh bike tonight and what a differance. Very happy with my selection. |

I was hesitant to order this windshield since the price was so reasonable. I took a chance since wingstuff has great return poliices. I like this better than the stock windshield; it is a bit larger so I don't have to raise it up (always slid down on my 1996 SE after a few miles). Mounting took me about 40 minutes and I only needed a philips head screwdriver. Put the vent on before you mount the windshield and it will be a breeze. |

I chose this windshield over several out there due to price and that it has a vent available. It is a good quality product for the price and provides the extra wind protection I was after. I wanted the vent as my original had one, and I use it often to provide directional air circulation. Mounting the vent was simple but requires care. The template included with the vent clearly shows the bottom corners of the vent cut out need to be enlarged slightly to accommodate the brass knurled nuts. This was known ahead of time so it was no surprise and didn't need much to fit. I used a small air grinder (kip grinder) with a fine burr, and gently ground out the clearance for the mating plastic vent. Once done, snapping the vent together took care so as not to risk cracking the outer flange of the vent. The curvature of the vent and windshield are slightly off. I started the two screws into the brass nuts first then tightened them progressively until the flange entered the mating part. I enjoy the windshield very much and being wider and taller, it is great in wind. Hope this helps. |
