Love this trunk rack. The reason I bought this was to mount the Honda OEM LED Brake Light. I did not want to drill into the trunk lid with the aftermarket LED lights. Somewhat expensive, but like the looks and quality of the rack. Thumbs up to WingStuff for fast shipping and a great price!! |
Twin Rail’s upper surface presents a flatter contact with rider boot, compared to original. Feels sturdier and looks good with matching highway pegs. Plus their angle adjustment feature offers another improvement over Honda stock. |
Wheel weights can fall off. Ceramic beads can play hell with the tire valve. Centramatics just work. Five stars! |
I’ve always liked them for each of my 3 Gold Wings, past and present ‘18 Tour. Superior ride with superior tread life. |
I do like that the unit for ‘18-‘20 mounts to the right or left lid hinge and does not require any drilling; nor does it mount on the plastic trunk body, which can crack over time. One other minor point: the bracket comes painted black, not chrome as illustrated - one star deduction. |
As another reviewer notes: it mounts with bars, not Velcro as shown such that it protrudes, limiting space for helmet storage ( 3/4 size OK but NOGO on modular or full face). Product description doesn’t include that unit comes with a very nice tool pouch, that I like; good for me since Honda does not provide one on the U.S. units. |
The covers add a little chrome accent that blends well with the other front end components. They are easily mounted to the original units with tape, so be sure the surfaces are clean and wax free before you install them. |
This is a great cover. The tie-downs are in the correct position. The fabric is of good quality. No storage pouch is needed because it is built into the cover.. I can recommend this cover. |
Purchased this windshield over the Slipstreamer due to the manufacturing process of the product. Yes, there was a large substantial price difference, but I don't think we are comparing apples to apples, so I spent the extra money. Easy install. I had no issues with the original side wings rubbing. Loosened the mounting brackets like the directions said and pulled them out all the way for more clearance. I had about 1/4 " clearance at the side wings. Went for a road test and it does stop the pressure on the shoulders with the shield all the way down, which is where I like to keep it. I am only 5'8". The wind is directed over my helmet with the shield all the way down (about the same as the OEM shield). With it up some it definitely does direct the wind over my head, but I prefer not to look through the windwhield, which happens only as I crested a hill. All the way up, no direct air. The extra width keeps the air off my arms and shoulders. I was hoping to keep it further away at my hands also, but I didn't notice a difference there. Nice windshield, hopefully it repels rain like it was advertised. |
Electrical Connection makes the best products. Easy to install, less than 30 minutes, custom look, better than factory. Highly recommend! |
4 stars: Positives: Looks great - appears as almost factory accessory, good quality and blends well with the trunk’s design. Drilling template was perfect for good installation. Negatives: (1) you need some small fingers the weave the connecting cable under the frame under the seat and (2) other riders have commented that it’s LEDs have only one brightness level for stop or turn indication and doesn’t appear any brighter than that of the running light mode - hard to see in daylight riding. |
5 stars: Easy to mount on Honda seat and provides good support to your lower back. Quality is great and lives up to the reputation others have shared. Its pocket is a convenient storage location for gloves and glasses. |
