I bought these for my 18 DCT. I originally planned to paint them to body color match. Ended up just installing as they were shipped.
This hitch fits like a glove. The only problem I had is that one of the lower bolts on the left side didn't have enough threads to seat it properly. The bolt was long enough but the threads stopped too soon on the body of the bolt. This lead me on a wild goose chase to locate a grade 8 metric bolt that would work. I ended up having to buy a whole box of Cap bolts at Fastenal but it was worth it to get things done right. The box of bolts was only like $15
My last grand touring bike was a 2008 BMW K1200gt which you basically can't mount pegs on. When I got my DCT my buddy said I had to get highway pegs and he was right. These are easy to operate and are nearly invisible when not in use. My only complaint is that the black powercoat is flaking and I am a little worried about the appearance as time goes on.
This is a pretty nice wrench but I wouldn't buy it again for my 2018+ DCT. It really didn't fit well on the areas where all the drain plugs are. A normal socket wrench was way better.
This spendy but high quality part should be included standard on a $20,000+ motorcycle. I bought this part just for the wire so that I could install a powerlet connector in my fairing and plug it in to the factory power plug location. I already installed one powerlet inside the trunk connected straight to the battery. Stripping down the trunk to do this wasn't a fun project.
Made of nice material I like that the inside of shield is fuzzy as to not allow the reflection of light. Looks awesome but very poor fitment. No access to on/off button , I made a small modification so the on/off button is accessible. it is a useful device and with a few factory mods it would be as functional as it is attractive.
Have already used a couple of these videos to save the $129/hr cost at the local Honda shop. Great video quality and explanations with emphasis on possible missteps by shade tree mechanics, like myself. I'm able to buy discounted Honda parts online and install with confidence.Well worth the money.
This is my second set of these pegs. That should tell you that they are fantastic am 6'6" and it feels really good to be able to stretch out your legs on a long trip. This set was purchased for my son as he has been complaining of knee pain when he rides. I have had both knees replaced and so I know a little about knee pain. Dose not get rid of all pain but it takes care of most of it. If you purchase these there is no doubt that you will love then in short order, adjusting may take a couple try's but well worth it. Wing stuff has about the best price I've seen too.
as stated in other reviews the screws are to long. The fit was good not great.
Not a perfect fit but looks good in the trunk.
Very easy to install with a great fit. A big improvement over stock grips.
I recently purchased and installed this item on my 2018 goldwing. The product is what it claims. Matches the bike well extends the front fender and looks good on bike. Not hard to install. My word of caution on the install and my reason for 4 stars. You have to be very careful when installing and line up the fender extender perfect the first time. Once the double sided tape makes contact it is very difficult to remove it and you can’t remount it with that same tape.
