This item plugs right into the current Honda receptacle and when you connect the "red" wire to the AUX + terminal it works. I like the way it turns the top brake light into a 30% tail light and when you hit the brakes, it turns on the stop light. I happen to have the Tailblazer setup on my bike so it goes through the "blinking" before it turns to a stop light. Very happy with the Tailblazer, the 25LED-D4 and Wingstuff!
Easy install, works fine, and I use it every time I go for a ride
ADD ON WITH QUALITY. COULD NOT LOOSEN THE SCREW ON OEM DAMPENER AND THE MANUAL IMPACT TOOL BROKE THE LOCTITE SEAL AND WAS DONE IN A MINUTE PER SIDE. I TRIED THE ADD ON RIST REST,, AND IT DID NOT WORK WITH THIS SET UP ON 06 WING.
NOT TOO BIG, VERY COMFORTABLE AND IMPROVEMENT OVER THE STOCK SKINNY GRIP. DO NOT KNOW DURABILITY BUT REPORTS GOOD.
Has all of the tools and parts needed for an oil change on a Goldwing DCT. (Maybe they will come out with the same kit but without the filter wrench for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etch oil change. Don't really need more than 1 wrench)
Save the hassle of finding a place the tie down the bike. Also, prevents damage or scratches to plastic parts on bike. Several people, including myself until i read on a Goldwing forum, did not know that you should NOT tie down the Goldwing by the handle bars because you will tweak them out of shape. These tie downs prevent this from happening. Easy to install, very affordable, and strong as a cast iron pan.
bought it for my 2015 Black and Red anniversary addition. The wife and I eye balled it. Then put green painter's tape on the trunk. Placed the rack on then traced the legs. I was going to measure and be very precise but my wife urged me to eyeball the centers. I did. Halfway through drilling the wholes she said. What if they don't all match up? No kidding. I had to elongate one hole about 1/16" and everything went together well. I bought the black star washers because the foot bases they provide are chromed and not black and to help spread the weight. I put a fender washer underneath to help spread the weight and might put a thin but stiff piece of nameplate brass or aluminum underneath the lid. This worked well on my 91 SE. Black coating looks good used it once on my trip so far. Looks good. Stands tall enough to be able to clean under it too. Gave it 4 stars because the feet were chromed and not black.
Really enhances the look and protection of the nose.
I had this same one on my first wing, love it. pockets easy to get into, and holds little things so I can find them and "see" them thru the mesh.
Installed easily. Tint is great. Extra 2 inches matches my height perfectly. Recommended!
Poor design on the Chin Bar attachment. They are attaching the chin bar mount with 3 tiny screws. I was riding when I stopped and lifted my chin bar it wouldn’t close. Upon inspection I noticed 2 screws had came out and the third one was loose. This was the first time I had used it. About a thousand miles in a ride. So I took one screw from the other side and got it going till I got home or so I thought. At about 6000 miles into my ride, I raised my chin bar to take a drink of water, and the hole thing blew off. HJC is going to fix it back but I’m back in my wire out helmet. Plus had to change my headset twice and will have many more problems with this as it’s a poor design.
Pretty slick set of risers. Not too bad to install. I just fastened the handlebar to the bike with only one bolt to drill the other hole, then switched. I also used a series of drills to slowly step up to the required 15/32 drill. Then use a rag to catch any chips.
