The Goldwing is comfortable right off the showroom floor but if you want to take it to the next level the Helibar Tour/Performance is the way to go! My right hand would start to go numb during long rides and after installing the risers,,, problem solved! |
Well one of my best buy it opens both doors from a good distance so when I pull up I can just pull in we Had too figure out what set up for my closers . My goldwing is CSC TRIKE so I installed under my seat and works fantastic. |
Awesome bag for the price. I bought 3,,, one for the lady's helmet and 2 for my helmets. They protect them for accidental bumps/nicks and keeps them dust free when storing them... |
Worked fantastic actually hooked 2 together. One for each helmet. |
These are the OEM tires that came on my 2019 GW DCT Tour. Wife & I ride 2up a lot. Lots of Hi way & Mountain curves! Tires stick in the curves. Wet or dry. I tired another brand of tire but came right back to the stones! Avg 13-14K per set! |
I love them. I also purchased the matching front fender vent covers as well. They are a perfect fit, sporty, and sweet accent. I'm looking to get under glow lighting to really show them off. My son rides also and his comments were. They are "DOPE! and BAD ASS!" Very easy to install and seem to be staying in place very well. I would recommend to everyone who has a GW of this model to get a set! |
First the Kicks. The long bolts provided with the risers are, as said before in other reviews too long. All should be the shorter length that are provided with the risers. Simply put a nut on the long bolt and cut it off with an angle grinder or hack saw etc. then work your nut off carefully turning the nut back and forth to smooth out the threads that get a little bugggerd up from cutting the bolt. The Tricks. 1) Buy both the rack and the risers at the same time. Then you can use the smaller diameter "cup washer" that is comes with the rack as the inside "flat" washer. Then you can use the larger diameter and taller cup washer that comes with the riser for the foot of the rack as intended. 32) Yes, use painters tape to keep from scatching trunk lid but also put a strip of tape perfectly down the center of the backrest clear to the "Honda" emblem. Then draw a line on the ridge of the trunk up to the ctr of the back rest with a sharpie. Now you can easily center the rack. 3) Use the tall risers for your template and drill guide. Just let the tip mark your hole then switch to a smaller dia bit, then use the 1/4. The rest is easy. 1 hour max including cutting the 2 long bolts. |
The accents look great -- they break up the "lumpy" look of the fairing between the upper and lower portions of the fairing. The only criticism is the dependability of the tape used for bonding. One side seems to be working fine, but the other side not so much. I find this true of other chrome accents and have had to find other bonding tape. I have found the Loctite brand to work well -- especially if heat is an issue. |
Had the Elite 3 and was impressed now I got Elite 4 on expectations are high! |
Haven’t ridden a lot of miles yet but am impressed so far! |
Quick shipping Great price And the LED’s do what they claim. Although the brights are pretty useless. Just having them on is way more like than the stock bulbs ever could offer. |
I like that the compartments are sizable and varied to accommodate different sizes and shapes of things. LOVE that they're made in the USA! Take your time, and practice positioning and fitting them into the saddlebag lid, and you should be fine when installing them. |
